- ChrisReceived call from 866-441-4728 stating that the call was in reference to a bill for Beach Body. "Romeo" as he calls himself, stated that he would not give me any information until I was able to verify my address. I didn't verify my information and will be contacting the BBB to report them as this information is false and do not appreciate the harassment.

- WK| 1 replyI got one email, one call and have received so far, 3 letters from them stating they are collecting from Beachbody. Somehow they did know my client number and amount I did owe Beachbody for my second installment payment, which I did pay to Beachbody. After receiving letter #3 today, I called Beachbody again to verify that I had a zero balance. They said I owed them nothing and did not know who these Express Reponse Department at www.autobillpayer.com were. I was surprised that they did not seem to want to take action against them using their name, but I guess the gentleman I spoke to only cared about taking orders for product.

- BigA replies to WKIf you have received 3 letters from them, why did you not communicate with them directly? It is up to them to prove that you owe the bill. It is up to you to demand debt validation to protect your rights. You failed to do that. E mail is not a valid form of communication is is against federal law. At the very first attempt to collect in which they contacted you, they were required to send you a letter that contained this:
Federal law (FDCPA) requires them to send you a letter (US MAIL ONLY) postmarked within 5 days of their first contact that contains their name, physical address, the creditor’s name, and the amount of the alleged debt. It also must contains “mini-Miranda” telling you that it is an attempt to collect a debt and that all information will be used for those purposes. The one other important thing that this letter must also have in it is that you have a right to dispute the debt within 30 days of receipt of the letter and if you do so, all collection activity must be stopped until the debt is verified.
At which point you need to do this:
You need to send them a certified, return receipt debt validation, cease and desist calling, or "not me" letter. You also need to report them to the proper agencies to which I have provided links to.
Read up on your rights here, get template letters to send and also make a complaint at this government site: http://www.consumerfinance.gov/
Also file a complaint with your State Attorney General's office.

Please use the links so that you can properly handle these situations and do not become a victim of this crime. - ShannonIt started with an email supposedly from Beachbody saying I needed to contact billing about an order made on August 4th. It requested I not reply I call a phone number instead 866-441-4737. First off it didn't come from Beachbody's normal email addresses I get emails from them all the time. Second you pay for everything up front with Beachbody. You don't pay you don't receive (except for their trials which are of course free).
So I get Beachbody's support # from their site (hmmm not the same number). I call them and have them look at my account, lo and behold there are no outstanding balances on my account. So I ignore the email. About a week later I get another one which again I ignore.
Today I get an actual letter. Here's another clue when I opened my Beachbody account it was before I married and when I married I changed myBeachbody account over to my married name. It wasn't addressed to my married name. Another thing is a legitimate collections company will have their name (possibly along with the original creditor's) on their mailings. They don't portray themselves AS said creditor.
I guess I need to let Beachbody know people must be phishing through their site because they got my email and my address without me giving them either one. Do NOT give these people any information. If you choose to call them block you number.- Caller: Beachbody Express Response Department (supposedly)

- Jennifer replies to DeDeThis is exactly what they're doing to me! I set up three payments, they took one, didn't take the rest, and are now sending me to collections? WTF????
- infomercial replies to brigitteit's DermaWand collecrions or another TV infomercial collections department.
- JoeEmployee stopped by to show letter same as above, claiming $14.95 was owed and being "considered for collection". Instantly felt it was a scam and google revealed these experiences as listed above. Sadly, they already authorized a bank draft. Likely too late to stop payment as those are instantaneous if done electronically. Beware of anyone claiming you owe money but they do not want to reveal who you owe the money too or what it is for. As a Security Manager I see this all the time.

- DevonI received a call from this number today. I never answer calls that I do not recognize the number and always run the number through the internet to see what scam it is. Notice that I determine that a number is a scam before I even look it up because they never leave a voice message. Even if they did, I still would not call them if I don't recognize the number. Best action---Don't answer the call if you don't recognize the number. If the call is legit, they will leave a message. If they do happen to leave a message and you still don't recognize the people or what they want, just leave it be and take no further action. Talking to these people will only get your name and address or phone number on a list that can be sold by them to all manner of advertisers and scammers. Remember, you know your own business, or you should, so don't let them get a foot in the door by trying to scare you into falling for their scheme. The money they are trying to collect is not enough for them to take any legal action anyway. No company is going to spend thousands of dollars trying to get a judgment against you for such paltry sums. If they can't get you on the phone or get you to answer a fake letter, they might not even have enough information to take any further action, but if you talk to them of answer a letter, they will have enough to harass you for a long time. Do as I do all the time, check the number to see if it might be legit, if you can't determine that it is familiar in any way, just block it on your phone or delete it and go on your merry way.
- DevonReceived another call from this number today. This time, they left a voice message saying I needed to call them about an account number which she subsequently rattled off. Notice that she did not give any company names as to who they were or who the company is that I have the account number with. She also did not use my name, so all of that shows you that the only thing they have is my cell phone number. That should raise a red flag to anyone, they have nothing else, not even my mailing address, so why would anyone call them or give them any further information. They will be ignored every time they call and at some point I'll block the number as the only reason I haven't done so is to put them through having to give their spill when they call. That takes up some of their time and makes them work for the scam that they are trying to pull off. Ignore these people and sooner or later they will tire of calling, if not, I'll just put them on total ignore and block the number. Also, be careful as they may have several other numbers that they can display when they call, so far I've only had the 866-441-4728. Don't give these idiots anything, completely ignore them.
- Devon replies to JosieJosie, it is obvious that they only have your email address which they could have obtained several other ways. If you call them, they will then have your telephone number and start using it to further their scam. Don't give them the time of day.
- Scottthese jerks sent me a letter saying i have an outstanding bill for a i think book called LEARN OUR HISTORTY inever bought,, now they send e mails too and have my full name of which i dont know where they got it but when called they didnt know why i was callling or of the name i gave they said they were from on letter... total scam! how sad

- Jolie DunhamThank God for this website....I keep getting letters from this company....except they put their name as BEACHBODY. I ordered and paid for a workout 6 mon ago and they say that I owe money. I used to be a Beachbody coach and have been at headquarters in CA. This has the Farmingdale, NY address. I called Beachbody and they were mystified. The bigger concern is...HOW do they know I ordered a workout? Who did they hack?? I took a picture and I am sending this to the NY AG and to BB in CA.
