Fraud services for 5/3 bank and a few other credit unions. If you receive call or text, check your debit and online account ASAP. I received text asking me to verify a purchase that I didn't make. When I said no, they told me to call this number. Instead, in logged into my account and saw two other fraudulent charges. I called the customer service number listed on 5/3 website and was directed to their fraud services. I've been locked out of my account completely. It's the weekend so I have to wait until Monday to get all this resolved. If you have ANY bank account and receive call or text from this number, be on the safe side and call your financial institution. Also, after reviewing 5/3 website, I did find this number in their FAQs and it appears to be legit. You can always check yourself and I advise you to go on your bank's website to review.

Just because this is a legitimate number for them doesn't mean all calls are actually from them. Scammers spoof legitimate phone numbers all the time. One should never trust a random caller to be who they claim. Instead, hang up and dial a known number for whomever they're claiming to be.
By the way - if you already know who called you, why did you look up the number?

This is 100% a scam. Do not reply or call them back. Simply block the number. I called the 5/3 # on the back of my card and they said not only is that not their fraud number, but they also would never send a text. They would either call or maybe in the 5/3 app.

You or may not be telling the truth but it really doesn't matter.  Many banks and CC companies use third party fraud systems but Banks and CC companies will include in their statements that you can call the number on your card to check on suspicious activity.  Numbers can be spoofed and legitimate businesses are no exception.
