Text message stating fifth third fraud alert
Called the number, they asked for my card number so I hung up and googled this message board.
I. Calling my local 5/3 to find out for sure

Text asking if I made a purchase for 964.00, online merchandise.when I called 866-442-0251 requested my 16 digit card number. I did not give. Called my bank no such number for their fraud department, and request for auth on my account.

Since you claim to "work for them" then you have confirmed that this is a scam.  Lying is against the TOS.

Computer voice asked me to enter my bank card# I hung up..No one to take my call at 53rd 800#'s so wait until morning.

That's false.5th3rd said this is NOT one of their phone numbers. I called these people and when they answer they say "fraud dept" and when I ask with who they wouldnt tell me. I say how I give you my info.when u won t even tell me who to u are?? I hung up.

I got a text from this number saying i had fraud alert on the left for $93.75 on my fifth third bank card

No he was not dumb smart move. Texted from app. No fraud alert.
