this person from Hollander Law Firm left me a message to call him back. i googled this number and found this site( thanks for the inputs). collection agency?? well,it's odd,  i don't owe anyone money. scary thought that they have my social security number?? are they stealing info from banks??

Damn you must be [***]. Oh I'm sorry Mentally Challenged. Where do you see anywhere here that people dont pay their bills? You ASSUME that anyone who wont work with you is a deadbeat. But you NEVER send the required letter proving the so-called debt. You can say you do but we all know you are lying. Prove it [***]! Prove I owe you money! No proof means no debt. If you had proof you would send it by letter and sue if we refuse to pay. But instead you just try to intimidate people into paying. You are a bunch of paper tigers trying to coerse money from ignorant people over the phone. Put up (in writing) or shut up! Bite me! If you ever call me I will sue you shi*less!!!!!! Bank on it you buyers of bad debt for 2 percent of the debt who think they can collect this crap. There is a reason the original creditor wrote off this debt. You are bottom feeding scum and should treated as such. F- you!!!

keeps calling stating its a debt collector

I keep getting calls form them saying we have an outstanding debt.  WE have no debt and they keep harassing us.  They say they are a law company attempting to collect debt

We have had 3 or 4 of these annoying phone calls.  PLEASE, someone do something about these calls. I don't owe anyone a cent!

I dont know who Hollander Law is, but I am currently debt free. I owe nobody and they keep calling. They won't specify my name. Occasionally, on the answering machine, a real person(as opposed to the recording message I usually get multiple times a day as late as 8:46 PM so far) will call and they usually request to speak to a certain person. The funny thing is they usually ask for different names everytime they do this, and Ive never even heard these names before. ??? Now if thats transparency and honesty from a "so called debt-collector, then I'll be damned. Not to mention, many times the real people call and talk to the answering machine, they HAVE NOT specified that they are a collector or any kind of purpose or intent for why they are calling. I thought that was illegal now! Anyone else having these problems from them? And I know its them, because I practically have all the numbers they call from memorized, and most of the time it says in plain text on my caller ID that its Hollander Law. I am about to go talk to a lawyer.

I requested another letter when they called asking for personal info like my SSN and they asked for my address.  Evidently although they say I should be dealing with them, and have sent out a letter, they don't even have my address.

I got a real ugly call from a Ms. Johnson last night. She stated she was calling from Hollander and wanted me to verify my identity. She asked for the last 4 of my SS# and also for my DOB. I gave her neither. I asked her to verify who she was and she told me the calls would continue until I coorporated. I smell a fish!!!!!

Not Information But Calls to cell phone ofter hour not able to return calls due to office being closed , No out standing DEBT that I know of but calls are continueous and non - stop

my sister and I have a BofA card, that I stopped paying on. I have made arrangements using a credit card, and they called me to say that they lost the number and if I do not pay this they will pursue this further. my sister is freaking out. They keep calling my work, when I tell them I can not get calls. they will keep me on the phone and I am afraid to hang up.

I have recd called before and one just a minute ago from a Mrs Hollander- here at work. I got called into my boss office in regards and got a write up and warned no personal calls at work.
the number she called from is 301-223-0066 which is from Maryland.
AFter reading these post I am never paying them- FIne Take me to court and I will wheel in my slowing dieing husband and 3 kids for you to see I can not even make payment arrangments- I am supporting 5 people- I think it is wrong because I do keep an eye on my credit report and i have the list of medical bills a mile long on it- I do plan on paying them off one at a time. what is sad, the ones I have paid off have not been reported paid off- SO I will never ever pay collection companies ever again.  NOT sure what to do about it-- -

We received a phone call from John Stump claiming to be a part of Hollander law firm.  It was for my mother, who barely speaks english.  I immediately took the phone and he told me he couldn't release any information to me.  I told him that he must have my address and anything that he needs to speak with my Mother about he must send it out in writing.  He claimed he had but I have never received anything from them.

I received a call on my answering machine to return the call to Aden (?) Smith, Hollander Law Office, 1-866-448-8558.  A collection call.  I owe no one.  After returning the call, I had to leave a message, I did with the name above, not my formal name.  I had time to browse, and found this.  Very interesting stuff.  Thanks.

I JUST RECIEVE A LETTER FROM HOLLANDER LAW OFFICES ABOUT MY DEBT. ALL OF THE INFORMATION WAS CORRECT BUT NOW SINCE I HEARD ALL THIS BULL [***] ABOUT THEM AND DID SOME RESEARCH ON THE BBB SITE. THEY RECIEVE A F. I FEEL VERY UNCOMFORTABLE GIVING THEM MY MONEY. WHAT MADE ME NOT TRUST THEM MORE IS WHEN I WANTED TO PAY WITH POSTAL MONEY ORDER AND ALL OF SOMETHING I WASNT ABLE TO GET A PAYMENT PLAN. I THINK IT WAS BECAUSE THEY KNOW MONEY ORDERS ARE TRACEABLE.

I second that. And I'd also like to add that no respectable law firm, or any employee working for such a place, would ever debate private prosecution tactics in a public forum, like 800Notes. RED FLAG! If you want to screw yourself and let a defendant win, just run your mouth and tell them what you are going to do to them legally. Or worse, type what you intend to do and then leave it on 800 notes, where thousands of people can read it and download the legal "game plan". Duh. Yep. I said, "duh".

I RECEIVED A CALL TODAY , FROM HOLLANDER & HOLLADER LAW OFFICES. THEY CLAIM , THAT I HAVE AN OUTSTANDING UNPAID  CLAIM BALANCE OF $17,636.38. THAT HAD ACCUMILATED FOR 3 YEARS, FROM 1996 TO 1999. THROUGH A COMPANY CALLED CONNOR & CONNOR MOTORS . THEY ALSO SAID THAT THEY'VE TRIED SEVERAL TIME OVER THE PAST YEARS TO CONTACT ME ,BY TELEPHONE AND LETTERS , BUT I HAVE NEVER RECEIVED ANYTHING STATING A CLAIM OR COLLECTIONS FROM ANY AGENCY OR FIRM UNTIL THIS DAY FEBRUARY 16,2009 . I BELIEVE THAT THIS IS A HUGE SCAM ,FROM THIS SO CALLED LAW FIRM . HOLLANDER & HOLLANDER . BEWARE OF ANY / ALL FRAUDUALANT  ACCUSATIONS FROM LAW THIS LAW FIRM OR ANY ....

I started paying "The Law Offices of Gerald E. Moore" $50 dollars a month.  I received a lump some of money, so I paid the remaining balance.  A few months later a woman named "Stacy" called from "Hollander Law Office" claiming I still owed the full amount of money.  They keep calling showing different numbers and locations (Reno NV, Richmond VA, etc).

About a year ago, I entered into a debt management program.  When I did this, Hollander Law offices kept threatening me with being sued.  They did not want to accept the proposal of the program.  Eventually I stopped hearing from them.  I recently withdrew from the debt program and now they are calling my mother ( I never gave them her phone number!!!!). They told her that I gave them her number and it was ok for them to call her.  The number is different from above, it is 1-800-416-5606.  They made the comment, "Doesn't ***** want to talk to us?"  Why would I want to talk to them when they are nothing but rude, harassing a**holes?

"Stacy" is also the one calling me!!!!

WRONG WE ASKD YOU TO CONFIRM THAT INFO BECAUSE IT'S REQUIRED BY FEDERAL LAW.  ANYONE COULD CALL AND SAY THAT THEY ARE YOU BUT UNLESS THEY OR YOURSELF CAN CONFIRM AND ADDRESS AND LAST 4 OF THE SOCIAL WE WONT RELEASE ANY INFO.
