It's Barclays/juniper...they call all day from different numbers. I have reported them to numerous agencies to no avail. I told hem I would NEVER pay the remaining balance and I never will

Caller ID shows as TOLL FREE CALL. I have been getting NUMEROUS calls throughout the past few months from caller ID saying this at my small business. On the occasion I answer, they ask for a James or Amy Dunn. There is no one here by those names. This is driving me crazy! I have reported these numbers on the FCC website and have told whoever it is on the call that I am not James or Amy and they should stop calling my business! But it doesn't stop! I don't know what else to do ...

Both of those numbers call my small business ALL THE TIME asking for James or Amy. I'm neither of those! It drives me crazy! I can't seem to convince them that I'm not who they're looking for…

I've never had a credit card with Juniper/Barclay's but yet got a call at 4:39pm 10/14/11.  I didn't recognize the number so didn't answer but got curious as to who it was and looked it up.

    So odd.

In the last 2 days they have called 16 times.  This is harassment!  They don't tell WHO they are or WHERE they are calling from.

They want me to put in my Social Security # (do they think I'm THAT stupid??) or account # (if I don't know who they are, how do I know what account # - again, how stupid do they think I am??)??

With this many calls, I have went to a lawyer. You can sue if they call you that many times a day...

Call a lawyer and sue them. They are not supposed to call that many times a day. you will get a lot more money than you think.

The number may well be a legitimate number for a legitimate company.  However, these scammers can spoof any number they want.  Never give your social or bank numbers when someone calls you on the phone.
If it is a legitimate company you can ask for a mailing address and send a full cease and desist letter if you don't owe them.  If they are calling for someone else or if you have settled with the original creditor, been discharged in bankruptcy, or if the debt is  past the statute of limitation.  If you still owe the money you can send them a 'limited' cease and desist letter stating that all phone calls are inconvenient and they may only contact you by mail.  Send the letter certified mail return receipt requested and keep the return card with a copy of the letter.

The only good thing about the Juniper/Barclays calls is that a live person is on the phone and not a recording saying "hold on".  The down side is no matter how many times you talk to them, they keep calling.  I told them that my situation has not changed since you called me 3 days ago.  They don't care.

I receive calls now and then from 1-866-456-0677 even though I have  blocked this number. They are clever enough to block their ID appearing. The strange thing is, they call me at my office number and leave a message. I learn that this is from barclays bank.  I have nothing to do with this bank.  Never borrowed money from them.  Never applied for credit.  Never solicited anything.  Yet, they reach my office number and leave message.  Not knowing who these are, I called the number (based on voice mail) to let them know they are not welcome.  What I was surprised is that I was asked to enter my SS# which of course not willing to give out.

Then did a search in the internet to find out these are frauds. Why the Federal Gov allows these people to operate the way operate?

These folks have no business ethics or morals.  They call my office number to leave out a message asking me to call back. The voice mails mentions something about Visa / Barclays bank / charity.

I have never done any business with Barclays and am surprised that I am receiving these calls in the first place. Second, I have blocked this number before, yet they sneaked in and left three messages in the last two weeks.  I am angry with the Feds that such companies are allowed to operate without any fear or consequences.

I am also going thru a debt management program and was told by them all my creditors would work with them EXCEPT JUNIPER\BARCLAY.  So i guess i will pay when i can and ignore their calls and let them listen to my answering machine!  I would never, ever advise anyone to get an account with these people.  They are based in india and you can never ever get any satisfaction for you debt with them.  As soon as my debt management is paid off in 2 years i am paying these [***] off and steering clear of this company!

Juniper/Barclay Bank will not work with any credit counseling organizations.  I too am paying off my credit card debt through a credit counseling service and they were the only ones who refused to work with them therefore we must pay them.  I can't afford the astronomical amount they want me to pay so i am sending them $90 a month.  At least they can't say i haven't made an effort to pay, but after 2 job losses and 2 heart surgeries i do not have the kind of money they want due to them charging such absorbatant fees!
