This is a fraudulent scam via phone calls.  we get calls from this organization 10 times a day saying that they are calling from "department of law and investigation".  They threaten legal action pertaining to a debt owed and offer to settle out of court.  They refuse to give any information that links them to any physical location or any legitimate organization. Every person I have spoken to has a thick foreign accent and is very quick to become rude and condescending.  I have offered to go through the legal system with my lawyer and at that point they just hang up and try again the next day.  I did a google search for the phone numbers that they leave in voicemails and it appears this is widespread.  the phone numbers I have documented for them is 8664631803, 6102008803, and 5084077251
    When we asked who we were paying, we were told "cash advance america".  he also refered to his company as CFI.  I cannot find a website listed as "cash advance america".  The only form of payment they are willing to accept is credit card over the phone.  we offered to send a check to see if we could get an address and they declined saying that the only way to resolve this was a credit card over the phone.

I am not even going to call you Mike because in reality we all know you stole that name as well. Why don't you come forward and post your company's legal documentation for all of America to see. What are you afraid of, being threatened of jail in America, or worse actually being jailed? I have gladly submitted my attorneys name and number for you, just today when you called my deceased husbands number  this morning at 9:30 A M and 10:00 A M  and 10:25  A M. They are awaiting to hear from you along with LEGAL AUTHORITIES. I have all of the voicemails from you and your fraudulant companies,( and I say companies because you change the name of your company every time you call and sometimes no company at all), saved and have turned them over to the American Authorities. So please by all means come and arrest me or my deceased husband.

The name they used yesterday is UNITED CASH. The name they used today is CASH IN ADVANCED.

This call has come to me several times for several different people to my office phone.  I have several employees that have given their work phone out to whomever.  The caller asked for one of my staff and when I started questioning them as to what their company was, the address etc... He got beligerent with me.  Obviously a fraud.  Told me that he was from the "Bureau of Crime Investigation" from the "State of Florida"  What a joke!!!  Said his name was Roy Wilson.  Sure didn't sound like a "Roy" or a "Wilson" to me.  He couldn't even pronounce the names of the people he was asking for.  Once the guy had the balls to ask me for a cell phone number to get in touch with my staffer.  Another time he told me that he was calling for something regarding Social Security Benefits?!?

Please call the FTC @ 877 382 4357. Use prompt 3. You will get a live person. I am continuing with phone calls to authorities because I found out if they have your phone number they can obtain info on you without you even knowing. It is ashame we have to go through this.

I got a call on March 16 and they they left a message that I have a loan with them. They said they are LEGAL DEPARTMENT and if  I dont answer them with one hour they will call at my work When I called them back they act like they cant hear me I dont even know the compay name.. Even they called at work place and they left a fax number. Also by the name STEVE and when I called back they dont know that name.. Anywhere when you have loan they have a bank account so they willl be able to take a loan from the account..

I also received a call today from Paul Nix, who didn't speak English very well looking for a "friend" of mine.  When we returned the call Mike answered the phone (he's awfully busy) and gave us the same line it seems everyone else received about a Payday loan and the police are coming. He got upset with all the questions and hung up stating the police will be sent to arrest us.  Well I'm waiting................

I got a call from these people 2 months ago telleing me I was going to be arrested the next day. Today I get a call from Murphy and this guy aint Irish, he could hardly speak english.I called the Police the 1st time and the dispatcher giggled and said" we dont arrest people for not paying their bills. I told this Murphy to send me a certified letter and he hung up. I tried to call back and just got a recording that the call was being recorded for Quality Pourpose. and just kept playing over and over.

Has anyone encountered the name Oscar yet? That is the recorded name I get on my cell.

I've been receiving these calls for the past couple of weeks. He never identifies where he is calling from except the "legal dptmt" or " beaureau of investigations". Nor does he state what the debt is. Only threats about the legal action that is about to come my way.
Yesterday they called my job & I told "Roy Wilson" (yeah right) not to call my place of employment anymore. Today he called my job again & my administrative assistant answered & he wanted the name of my manager. She declined to provide that information to a stranger. He called back (work) 3 more times (back-to-back). He was demanding to speak with my management. I finally took his call & I was beyond irate at this point. Mr. Roy Wilson told me he didn't want to speak with me anymore since I never returned his call the other day & he demanded to speak with my manager. I told him he could not & would not speak with management & he had no right. He insisted & insisted. Upon telling him he was now harrassing me & I would be reporting him, he hung up. He called back my job stating we got disconnected. I have never felt so violated at my job i've been employed at for the past 10yrs. Not to mention its embarrassing! This is absolutely ridiculous & has to stop. I will be taking the advice provided on this site tomorrow & following thru with this nonsense.

Hello! I received a phone call from number 1866-463-1803 and a guy named robert said that I owed $300.00 on a pay day loan that I didn't receive, he called me stating that they were gonna sue me If they don't receive a payment, so I called my bank to verify about the loan,  because of loans I received before, but the loan  this company said I have gotten was false. So now this company whoever they are has my information so im going to the bank to put a block on my info and until i contact better buisness bureau.

They just called my work phone & tried to scare my boss ... I never got anything from these people ... My boss told them to put my number on the National Do Not Call List ... The guy said he better have me call them back ... Couldn't even understand them ... Yeah ok .... What a scam

these fools threaten to have me arrested for some pay day loan i took out in dec ,i said well lets see what i can do ,the indian speaking joker put me thur to a legal specialist in the fraud dept ,this time it was a indian women ,she said the loan was for 300.00 in dec of 2011 ,,and that the legal dept was charging me with wire fraud ,theft and going to call me employer and tell them what a bum i am ,well with asking me to give them 3300.00 i said i dont have it it suddenly went down to 2000.00 i said i still don't have it ,i said i could make payments , then i said i work for the US Attorney office in the Southern District of new york ,click silence  i tried to call them back to give them my info they wouldn't answer wonder why

Just got the same call, except to a work partner of mine, which he said I listed as my work number. He said something like, this was about restitution and if I didn't get a hold of him he was going to send the authorities out to arrest me! Scared the crap out of me at first, so I just googled the number and found this site. Thank God! I didn't know what the hell to think!

It seems everyone is having issues with this comany harassing everyone. I had the same problem just yesterday. I argued with the guy because I didn't owe a payday loan. He keptt changing his story and threatening me with loss of job,court fees ect. I blew up after that and flipped out on him. Lucky I went to my bank and checked my account. I also got a bank statement and notice  300.00 was bot deposited into my account. I believe this is a scam and these guys need to be arrested for fraud. Because yesterday they wanted me to wire 511.00 for a loan I supposedly had. I hanged up the phone and called them back this morning. Told the supposedly supervisor of my suspicions. He didn't find anything i owe through my number. Then he wanted my name. I hanged up the number because I rest my case. There is a law against harassment from loan companies. There was also no name, fax or address of the company. And no loan official would bring you to court to pay a 2,100 fee and call an attorney. This is scare tactics. The reason why this happens is because they call us at home to get information. Or filing out forms for paperwork inquiring about loans. But they never are processed. Also the strange Indian dude is Mike Thompson now.

Ive had this and another number call me, however I take special care of my bank account and check my credit regularly. I did apply for a loan but I never sigened for one because I didnt end up needing it after all. Ther was no tranfer to my account and I know its a fraud.

My sister was actually a victim of this scam and I am simply trying to find the web site that she went to where she provided them with information. Does anyone have the URL?
