- Rustyx111 replies to RobI got this call today - one for my wife and another for me. Did not answer either of them. I have also reported to BC/BS Federal Plan, but as I read your post, you reported it in Jan 2012 and it's still going on so I'm guessing my complaint isn't going to do much good either.
- Rustyx111 replies to JanGot this call today - one for my wife and another for me. Did not answer either of them. I have also reported to BC/BS Federal Plan, but as I read other posts, others have reported this as well, some several years ago so I guess it has done no good at all. What a shame we have to put up with this sort of stuff. I think it's criminal.
- Joe PalookaWhen I checked the voice message that was left. A female voice said. Please answer "YES or No" then line went dead. There are several comments out there to NEVER answer with a YES or NO.
- Mike K replies to Kenneth M BuslerIt is generally unwise to give ANY personal information to an unsolicited caller, especially a robo call. I suspected it was legit, but I still refuse to talk to a robot.
- MerrickReceived this call 4/4. This is a legitimate call as the same search that led to 800notes led to FEP Blue offering a prescription review, which is an excellent service which could result in saving lives as well as money. I had a review like through me medical provider.

- B-Edwards replies to Pete GordonIt is OK to be careful. Numbers can be faked, spoofed. Better to call back on a number you trust, one you looked up yourself. From a bill, a statement, the back of a ID, Credit or Debit card. Fraud is everywhere.
- Misty replies to JanIt is a valid call from Blue Cross. If you join a pharmacist will schedule a call to review your medications. It can be helpful.

- MarcReceived call on landline from the number who left a message claiming to be Blue Cross/Blue Shield from some "patient care center" offering a "prescription consultation program" and asking me to call 1-866-465-2505. I didn't call back since I figured it was a telemarketing call or like my DME, Blue Cross/Blue Shield is going to start making cold calls trying to get me to buy services that I don't need. Reading the site, it sounds like my pharmacist already provides these services.
- Caller: Blue Cross/Blue Shield?
- Call type: Telemarketer
- NC Girl 23Received a garbled call (message left on recorder) from this number about patient care. Was not home when the phone rang and I did not attempt to return the call.
- HannetteI just got this call today, so apparently it's been going on for a long time and continues. I said, "Not interested," and hung up.
- Caller: BC/BS (they said)
- Call type: Telemarketer
- Anonymous in Texas replies to Kenneth M BuslerYour statement is false. I have never had any dealing with Blue Cross Blue Shield, so how could they be following up? Because they are lying. My prescription provider would NEVER cold call me for information. They already have all of my info. SCAM.
- BobBlocked this gnat on another number after receiving many empty voicemails. So they call from a new number. If some vendor offers a way to answer with a tone that would fry their equipment I will buy it!
- Caller: 800 services
- JakeA call came in as unidentified on my caller ID. The message was that they were calling on behalf of Blue/Cross and it was important that my wife call back about her medications. I suspected a scam and went to 800Notes to see if there was anything here. After reading some of the comments I started looking for an email contact to Blue Cross that fit this situation. Forget that for anything.
I finally called the claims phone number and explained the problem. The Customer Service Rep said that they were not calling anyone and that if they did it would come in as BC/BS not "unidentified" . But, hold on, because he was going to call CVS and he would reconnect after he got their rep on the phone.
The CVS CS Rep. checked the records and told me that there was no known reason why CVS would be calling my phone. To take the BC/BS Reps advice and ignore the calls.
Then she asked if I had about 20 seconds to spare to hear about a new program and she mentioned Customer Care Center and I interrupted her. I said that is the name of the company being complained about. She asked for the phone number and she told me it was a legitimate program. I asked why I would need a medication co-ordinator when CVS is supposed to be co-ordinating all of that including purchases from my local pharmacy. Why do I need an outside company. She claimed that it wasn't that it would be the CVS Pharmacists doing the co-ordinator's work. I said didn't make sense. Then she added that they should not be calling without my asking for more information or my permission to call.
Then she claimed it was a Blue Cross Program (passing the buck again.)
I finally asked that she remove my phone number from future solicitations. If you need to contact CVS about the calls the number is
1-800-624-5060
All of this nonsense started with the Obamacare programs. .- Caller: "Unidentified" was CVS Pharmacy
- Call type: Telemarketer
- Jake replies to Anne C.Any Pharmacist worth their salt should have detected "harmful Interactions" of your medications before filling them and questioned the doctor directly or at least called and advised you. Their computer profiles on your medications will set off alarms about interactions when they are preparing the prescription.
I know it is required by NJ State Law. But, of course CVS mail Order Pharmacy may not be subject to NJ State Laws.
It appears to be a scam whereby CVS gets to charge BC/BS extra fees for patient consultations they are required to provide in the first place. This is all part of the "Preventive Medicine Programs" under Obamacare. - nonyacalled my office at 7pm. called my husband at 8pm. my phone blocks calls not on my contact list. complaints filed with CVS, BCBS FEP, and my HR liaison at work. had issues with robo text messages from about 90d supply mail order eligibility which my plan doesn't cover.
- Caller: 3rd party for bcbs and cvs
- RBCBS program. There is NO WAY I will say "yes" in response to a recorded message.
