- Sandi replies to Kenneth M BuslerI think it IS a scam. Otherwise why are they calling my non proifit art gallery? We have only hourly employees and do not offer any benefits.
- Sandi replies to JRLIf it's legit, why are they calling random numbers? They called my place of business (not me, just the main number of our art gallery, and left a recorded message.
- SandiThey called my place of business, which is an art gallery operated by a non-proft arts group. Did not pick up as did not recognize "Patient Ctr Care" - let our machine answer, and when the message ended there was the tail end of a recorded message that they left. I'm sure this is NOT legit if they are robo-calling places of business who do not even offer health care. We have a handful of employees, and we are hourly. We do not have any benefits.

- GeorgiaThis is a scam. I just met with BCBS reps and they didn’t even know this was happening. BCBS doesn’t robocall people, especially asking them to verify anything over the phone.

- Lucy2.7.19 @ 10:46 AM-- "PATIENTCTRCARE" (866-465-2505)-- Robo call, claiming to be for my husband (mentioned him by name), in regard to some type of medical program. It gave the option to be connected to a live person for more information, but then the call disconnected after there was no response from our end (call was picked up by our answering machine, we did not answer personally). Most likely a SCAMMER, using a spoofed name and number, so we are glad that we did not answer-- can't blindly trust anyone these days!

- SarahGot this call stating BC/BS; however, robo voice asked for me by name and wanted me to verify my birth date up front - no explanation of why they were calling or anything. I hung up. I do not trust any number calling that I do not know. If this is really calling on behalf BC/BS then it is imperative that BC/BS alert customers of these types of calls.
- Caller: PATIENTCTRCARE
- KenIf legit, there would be a caller ID attached. I also don't order prescriptions by mail, so it is a scam of some sort.

- RandyROBO call that asked for me by name, about a free drug consultation. The recorded call said they were calling from Blue Cross/Blue shield, but my caller ID showed PATIENTCTRCARE and not BC/BS. I hung up when it asked for the year I was born.

- Tom MacCall ID showed caller as "Patient Ctr Care." Message left claimed they were calling on behalf of BC/BS and wanted to discuss my prescriptions. I am a Fed retiree, but assumed call was a scam.

- GWPI got a call about 15 minutes ago. I don’t usually pick up but I did. I got the same spiel, I told them no, I did not want to speak to a pharmacist and there was an odd “OK” and then can we send You the information and I said yes. We will see, I am so leery of picking up the phone these days, a rotten way to live.
- Caller: Patientcarecenter
- GWPI just received a call a fer minutes ago from Patientcentercare, all one word. They indicated they are representing BC/BS. They asked for me by name, however mispronounced, I did not pick up. I am a former Fed Employee, I still have BC/BS, I was asked to press a button at the tone if I am who I am and I did not so they hung up.

- Caller: BCBS
- Mark replies to RobI also spoke with BCBS. The phone numbers the recording leaves are NOT BCBS phone numbers.
There was no BCBS identification on caller I.D. and the call sounded ROBOTIC..
This sounds like a scam call. It's best Not to answer unidentifed calls and smart Not to call them back.
BCBS, most will come up on caller I.D., more often they will send a letter when they can't reach the oerson. - MarkReceived calls claiming BCBS. There was no name on I.D.
The call was placed from 602 431 5000. A ROBOTIC sounding message was left saying it was Jan or Joan from BCBS and to call back at 1 866 465 2505.
I checked with BCBS proper and they informed me the phone numbers were NOT BCBS phone numbers.
Most likely a scam!
I don't answer unidentifed numbers on caller I.D..
If one leaves a message I DON'T call them back.I.
