Guys, this is absolutely, 100%, without a doubt, a scam. Collect calls don't work this way. Do NOT ever give out your credit card information over the phone -- not for this, or for anything.  Just hang up.  Call the jail yourself if you have any doubts whatsoever (but you shouldn't).

AVOID THIS SCAM.

One other thing -- you can ignore the replies in this thread from the scammers themselves. They're easy to spot.  The ones where they say, "Hey, no big deal! Modern technology! Just do it! I did it and now I can talk to my boyfriend in jail, hassle free!"

Is just a company the jail goes through for collect calls. The inmate calls
But in order to set up a prepaid acct you must pay a minimum of $25 to accept calls.
It is not a scam, I have used it before. Many times prisoners will just call
Random numbers in hopes of someone accepting their call, I only know this from an ex
Who was in jail a few times. No need to worry if you don't know anyone in jail. Hang up. Every inmate
Has a different id for the phone so if you block a call, another inmate can still call. Might have to call
The jail to get calls blocked if your getting a lot.

I have some inmate who keeps calling my cell phone number repeatedly, it goes on and on. First I don't have any friends or family in prison, Two I cannot block the call off per AT&T.  It is a 18668471251  last call at 6:43 p.m. eastern standard time to my cell phone.  Does the guy not catch on it is the wrong number or not get the point when I say no to the charges or keep turning my phone off, it keeps going on and on.

Jack O Brian  David McLeod and Theresa O shea are behind this, it s not a scam but they are making a fortune off the back of people who have no other choice other than to use their services
