I made a mistake and called a wrong number from my cell phone. They text message me and charged me $9.95. I can't find the reason for the charge. When I called the number back, it was a national directory service. Here is the number, If you know anything please let me know.

I read your message about the 233-33 number. I call my cell phone provider and reported it. They informed me that it is a 3rd provided they have enabled to offer customers a service of international directory. If you press the wrong button you are charged each month that fee. Call your cell phone provider and have it cancelled.

I had the same problem when I tried to called the bank. I was connected to the same number telling me to press y or any number. Please call your cell phone provider and report it. I called and it is a provider that was authorized through Sprint to allow 3rd parties to charged you a fee of $9.99 for international lookups. They will charge you this fee for a whole year. That's a rip off-call your provider now!

I have gotten about four calls from this number in the last week.  It's a recording that says it's a collect call from jail.  I hang up.  I wish they would stop calling (!) but, now that I recognize the number I just don't answer.

I received a text on 4/06/07 from 23333 that stated, "The Locator Srvc (800-934-7900) will renew tomorrow. $9.99/month+std msg fees Send STOP to cancel service. Support? www.smsvw.com" I didn't reply but today, 4/07/07, I received another text message that stated, "The Locator Srvc at 800-934-7900, has been renewed for another month! Support? www.smsvw.com." I called the 800 number in the text and it was recorded messages about phone numbers in the directory and please have city and state ready. But there was no one to talk to. I then looked up the web address and was directed to this site. I then called Cingular, my cell provider and found out that last month there were charges on my bill from USCellnet:23333 m-Qube Inc. I've never heard of this company, this is my business line and I do not text on this line but there were 3 text charges but I did not receive texts last month. In the end Cingular refunded me $19.00 and change and I put a text blocker on all my phone lines. So if anyone is receiving weird calls or weird texts you need to check your bill, there are probably all sorts of bogus charges on your bill.

I received 2 text messages from #1-800-934-7900 that said "The Locator SRVC, At 1-800-934-7900, will renew tomorrow. $9.99/month + std msg fees Send STOP to cancel the service. Support?  www.smsvw.com." Weird!  
Ive never signed up for anything, so not sure what this is all about..?

Called my phone company (Cingular) and there were charges not approved by me on my bill!! $19.00
They did remove them and gave me this number to call to "cancel membership" (even though I did not sign up!) 1-866-626-2823.
I called the number and advised them of this BS charge and that I never signed up, the said they would process my request to stop the membership...
I hate dealing with this type of [***]!

I have NO CLUE what this is!!! I never authorized ANYTHING!!! Now all of a sudden "I" am being charged a monthly service subscription charge for WHAT??? Whoever this company is, is going to court if I can't figure out how to stop this @$#*!!!!!!

Come 2 find out, this has something to do with texting "Deal or No Deal", or other tv gameshows that ask you to text them to try to win a prize. No wonder where they get their "$$$$$" from!!!!!!!What a bunch of SCAM ARTISTS!!!!!!!

I recieved call from this 866 number too twice today and one the other day. I did not answer the first two calls until tonight and a pre-recorded message saying I have a collect call from the jail press one if I accept. I called T-mobile immediately after this call because of two things: one is the collect call and how secure is my private information with them. T-mobile said that the company do not allow collect calls to any T-mobile numbers. I was also assured about my information with them. I even gave the service associate this number so she can make her own calling and she also find it weird after she did make her own calling. I was adviced to report it to the police and if I still recieve another call, they will change my number for free. I also asked them if they can investigate on this numbers so members can be alerted. I will report it to the police tomorrow.

I received the same call as well. I have t-mobile. I called them and they sad do NOT call the number back, well... i did.

T mobile also said give it 2 weeks and check my phone plane.

Randomly got this call out of no where, I have a prepaid phone from Net10. I've never texted any game show or any business. How can I keep from getting this call?

I got a text from 23333 asking that I reply with a STOP to cancel their locator service or if I did nothing, I'd be charged $9.99 per month beginning the day after I got the text.  I replied STOP and then got another text saying this service was cancelled from my cell phone.  I never signed up for it to begin with!  The dirty DOGS!!! I called SMSVW at 800-741-5900,the representative was rude and tried to get all of my personal info; Name, Phone number, SSN, I hung up on the cow.  I don't know what these people are trying to do but it's seems like something low down. I called my service provider to report the incident.

My girlfriend reminded me, I got my first call from it after I registered my phone with Yahoo messenger, has any one else???

I listened to the message and its a collect call service from a detention facility...I believe if you press 1 then it pretty much means you don't want to accept the call

i just got a call from that number also on my cell.  i didn't answer it because i never answer numbers i don't know.

i got this call around 2pm today it left a voicemail when i went to check it said "please enter your selection more quickly..please enter your selection more quickly" its a pre recording when i tried calling it back i got the same message some of u have gottenthis number has new information, press any key to find out more".  I hit 2.  "You will receive a text message..." I hung up.  Got a text message just now that reads "Reply Y Now to get the info on the # you are trying to reach. Locator Srvc $9.99/month+std msg fees for 20 lookups/month. Support/terms? www.smsvw.com".  ....weird ass [***] i think its just to try and get ppl to buy the service if they are curious and dumb enought to give them there credit card number

I have received several calls from 866-478-8892; I've answered none. Now I know why I shouldn't.
