This caller asked for a Jose Guerrero. I told him that this number he called has not been anyone but mine for at leat 6 years and he needs to remove it frome his list. He asked me if I knew this person. I said no. I did not give my name. He read back the number he dialed. I said again whatever number you just reached me on I have had for over 6 years.... I proceeded after I hung up with him to use the phones built in feature to block the caller.

Turn the tabel on them.  When they inform  you that they are recording the call for quality purposes, tell them you are not OK with that and to not record the call.  They will generally tell you they cannot continue the call and will try again at another time.

I also received a call from this number. The man on the other end of the call demanded to know my address, saying it was "an important business matter." I said, "I am not going to give out private information to you," and he said, "We cannot proceed with the call unless you confirm your address so we know we are talking to the right person," and I said, "Then we are not going to proceed with the call" and hung up.

Most of these DC's use skip tracing and are going off of old, outdated information as a ROT. They do not care if your the right one or not as a rule, until they get a C& D sent via certified return receipt mail. Google your name & number and any place such as Spokeo that shows up, make them remove the information.

    *Keep all messages
*Take a picture of your Caller ID
*Keep any and all conversations recorded to your states recording laws, some require they be told, others do not. This can be transferred to a recording device.

They called me the other night saying I still had to pay a medical fee that was really covered by my insurance. They made up a statement and said they mailed me a bill 2 days prior to that call and was pressuring me by asking how did I plan to pay it. We ended our discussion saying we could talk again when I had more facts. Talked with my family and the medical bill in question was something completely different and was nowhere near the amount of the real bill that has been dealt with. Tell your families to ignore this number. They say they are medical debt collectors and want to know how you will pay your bills. I talked to two people on the phone. One was definitely Indian and one had an accent like it but not a true accent. KNOW YOUR MEDICAL HISTORY. They will try to ruin your life. They picked a real medical situation but brought up a fake charge. Be aware everyone! They just tried to call me again an hour ago...

Calls asking for my daughter on my cell phone.  They then asked for her number.  I finally asked for their name and number and it was Bay Area credit services.  Told them they would not get her number and to stop calling.  Called again today and I didn't answer.  Are they a legitimate agency?
