Recieve calls from this number, go to call back and 2 short rings then nothing, dead air!

I get at least 5 calls from this number on my cell a day. I used to answer but do not anymore. I have a theory that this is a way the cell companies build up your minutes to increase your monthly bill. I use Verizon.

I just got the call again and answered the call. I explained I wasn't interested and they caller got very rude. Some kind of scheme - making money on the internet. Said I requested the information. I think I heard hin say the name of the company was "Fontain"? Well, he hung up on me when I asked to be taken off of their call list.

RECIEVE TONS OF CALLS FROM THIS # WEEKLY.  TODAY WHEN I ANSWERED THE PHONE WITH THIS # CALLING, IT WAS DEAD FOR ABOUT A MINUTE AND THEN A MAN CAME ON THE PHONE ASKING FOR MY HUSBAND.  I ASKED WHO HE WAS, HE SAID HIS NAME WAS TOM, THEN I ASKED FROM WHERE, HE SAID WEB BASED "SOMETHING", HE SAID THE NAME SO FAST I COULDN'T CATCH ALL OF IT.  I ASKED HIM TO REPEAT WHERE HE WAS FROM AND WHAT IT WAS I COULD HELP HIM WITH.  HE GOT RUDE, TOLD ME HE WAS LOOKING FOR MY HUSBAND AND WHEN I TOLD HIM MY HUSBAND WAS AT WORK, HE IMMEDIATLY HUNG UP ON ME.  I AM NOT SURE WHO THESE PEOPLE ARE BUT THEY ARE NOT VERY FRIENDLY.

I answer, they immediately hang up. Caller ID says Unknown Name, followed by the number.

numerous calls from 866-526-3312 each day for 3 weeks now. 2 rings and then a hang up. No one has ever been on the line the few times I pick it up. I encourage everyone to log a complaint with the national DO NOT CALL LIST so they eventually will go after these idiots!

We have received at least one call daily from this number.  No one is on the other end and you can't call back.

At 16:54 on 1.22.08 I had1.866.526.3312 call. This number has called several times and i normally hang up. this time i pretented to me partner and answer the phone. a guy named nick was there and wased for me, i told him i wasn't in at the moment and before i could ask if he wanted to leave a message, he hung up on me. like the rest of you have said, if you call back its just dead air. if i find more info out i'll let you guys know.

Happens to me frequently, 3+ times a week. I just hit "ignore" so it goes away, but I also figured out how to set call restrictions on my cell phone, so I've added this and one other number (866-693-6999, an auction house) to that restriction.  I didn't call my provider, it's a security setting right in the phone itself.  Go see if yours has one, so you don't have to pay for it.

Receiving at least 1 call every day from this number. No one is there when/if I answer. Sometimes they call more than once. When I try to call them back to be removed from the data base, the number rings twice and then goes dead. I have stopped answering the calls but they are still coming in every day.

TO Telemarketers who are persistant.

1. Be aware of loud horns that might help you lose hearing.
2. There are computer experts out here who can autocall you back.
3. Many of you get reported 'complaint' to 'donotcall'.

Personally, I find telemarketers worse than any evil.

Calling anybody and not communicating is the proof.

I will verify that it's Web Wealth Strategies. They finally answered today. The guy said I was lying when I told him they had been calling me for 6 months and repeatedly not answering. I then told him to take me off of their call list. He said he couldn't do that. I told him again, he said it would cost me $69.95 to remove me. I chalk this up to harassment... or something that isn't legal. Anyone got any advice???

I receive this call many times a day and they are looking for my husband but when I say he's not home they hang up. I am going to follow your advice but also going to the police station and fill out a report and they find out by a tap on the phone who they are and warn them not to call. Try that also if you are still bothered.

I get several calls a day from 866-526-3312 and they ask for my husband. I tell them he's at work and they hang up but soon after they call again and it's the same old thing for months now. I am going to the police station and filling out a report and they will put a tap on the phone and when you get the call you immediately call the police station with the time they called and  the phone number and after 3 times they will call them and tell them to stop. Check with your police station I live in California and this is their procedure. Good Luck.

Probably about 1 time per day but every day I receive a call from 866-526-3312. Same issue. I answer, no one there. I call back, no one there. Who the heck are these people???

It is very frustating to get several phone calls a day from this number (866-526-3312) with nobody answering the phone.  It is worse than telemarketers!  How could we track this number down and shut it down?

These people have been calling me all week. It's really annoying! Every time I answer the phone, there's no one there. I try calling back and there's complete silence.
