Picked up phone, no one there!

This number calls everyday at our work. I never pick up because several times I did...they just hang up.

Have received numerous calls from this number. I do not answer. Last call was Sunday night, July 19th at 9:20 P.M. That is too late for a 'not provided' call. They are a nuisance. Would like to be able to block them.

These sort of calls are uncalled for- pardon the pun- my question is- why won't our illustrious government officials DO SOMETHING about them? Maybe they are too busy giving my tax money to people who won't work to worry about those of us who actually pay taxes? (People who don't work don't get these calls)!
Or is it because one or more of our glorious Congressmen or Senators has some vested interest in this company?
Who knows? I do know I'm tired of it and want someone to stop it- and I don't really care HOW they stop it- I'll look the other way - do what you have to do!

Called my direct number here at work at 10:00 a.m.(few people have this number). I'm able to screen my calls and #'s that I don't recognize, I can put directly into my voicemail. I transferred the call to voicemail but they left no message.

Some ignorant b..tch called and said they were a marketing research company and I told them to take me off of their list as I do not do business by phone.  The b..tch said I will NOT take you off of my list that I WILL CALL you back.  I told her I would report her to the state and she hung up.  I BLOCKED them with my own blocking service.  Ha Ha HA!!  I'm not dealing with these creeps!

Iam a senior citizen living alone and it is very up-settting to keep receiving calls from this number (866-566-5188)off and on during the day and night. What good is the Do Not Call registery if this is allowed to happen. Please, let me know how I can put a stop to this. I need your help because Iam now having sleepless nights worrying about this.

Told them this (my) number is a DO NOT CALL.  He says, this is a focus group.  After I quit laughing, I hung up.  He called back 60 seconds later then hung up.

The jerks have been calling me lately, and never leave a message. I sent them an email telling them to remove my number from their list. I've reported them to the FCC. If they continue to call, I'll be changing my number and become much more selective about giving it out.

A little bit of trouble, but totally worth it to stop the harassment.

Some dude calling on a crappy phone who was asking to speak to the manager. I gave him a load of nonsense until he finally hung up. I have been rejuvenated for the day.

Company Crestwood Sales & Research. Wanted to talk to whomever was in charge of tire and maintenance of fleet. We have no fleet.

Called number back...says company name is Interviewing Services of America.

Yes, they are aliens indeed!  I feel so lucky they called me!  They identified themselves as being from the Yambytron galaxy and they're visiting Earth for their research purposes and simply needed a representative from our planet to assist them with their research, which includes lots of probing, etc. Wowzers!  I have never had so much fun in my life aboard their ship!  I'm so glad I answered this call-I may never go back to Earth!

I recieved a call from this number yesterday, told the woman on the other end that I was on the Do Not Call List.  She told me "that is for telemarketers, we are not selling anything" I replied that I wasn't interested.  She proceeded to ask when would be a better time...(persistant!) so I just said "later!" and hung up.  Today I was still thinking about that call, and wondering if they truly weren't covered, so I did my homework. This is what I found:

thats not true at all! I researched this number and its a prestigious Research company, they do the LA times polls and other dysney research...before you post anything up, make sure you know what your talking about!

The " no call list" ONLY applies to tele-marketers, not Research companies! educate your self!
