just so you know i did a survey for this company and received $350. if you don't need money just tell them to take you off their list and have them call my number i would be glad to deal with them again.
not all calls are a waste of time or an interruption.

They keep calling day and night, no one should be subjected to these calls. I am on the no call list and it doesn't seem to make a difference.  If they did their research they'd find people don't want to talk to them.

Prestigious my rear end!  I just received a call from them and they are very annoying and evasive.  If they think that is going to get them through to the person they want to talk to then they are sadly mistaken.  They asked for an employee that hasn't worked here in over 8 years!!!  lmao  So I gave them the first name only of the person they needed and told them they could leave a voice mail.  It was 2 minutes later someone called from another number asking for Michelle, but they didn't have her last name.  It told her she could leave a vm or not talk to her at all.

What kind of blocking service is that?  They are getting on my last nerve!  lol

Doesn't mean that you are obligated to do their survey.

These morons have called three times now.  Each time I have asked the idiot doing "market research" on the other end to not call me again.  I am already on the DNC list, but these fools don't care because, according to the second call, they aren't doing any "marketing or sales, so those rules don't apply."  I have already successfully sued a company (they settled, so it never made it to a judge) who made similar arguments and refused to stop calling me after I asked three times that they leave me alone...  Calling my attorney if these fools call again.

Liar.  I ask them not to call, they keep calling.  Your mother should be ashamed of having raised something as dishonest as you.

I would like to share a solution to these unwanted calls with everyone. I too was receiving many calls every day from different marketing and survey companies. I have found the ultimate solution to put this to an end. I shopped around and found  the Panasonic phone, model # KX-TG7622 allows it's owners to block any unwanted numbers they wish! You can also block all numbers that come in as unknown, or private. I just added the above number to my blocked list and that will be the last time they are able to bother me. As a side note, you can also connect your cell phone to this phone system, so unwanted calls to cell can also be blocked in the system (when you are at home). I caught a sale at target and got the phone system, with two cordless hand sets for $49.00... well worth having total control over these [***]!

They must be desperate, they called my firm, was put into my voicemail and left no message.  Therefore, I can't even tell them to knock if off.

They call often I hang up often

answered the phone and they are supposedly a research co. They wanted to ask me all sorts of questions about my business for $20. Yeah! Right. I'm going to give some [***] my personal info about my business for $20. Get lost!! I'm on the do not call list. What is the fine? $15,000 per incident? Hmm How do I go about suing their [***]? Funny thing is when you do a reverse lookup there is no identity for that number. They find it important to keep their number private so you can't tell who it is, but they sure invade your privacy! He did tell me the name of the company, but I didn't note it down.

Research calls are exempt from Do Not Call laws. When you call the fcc to have your number added to the list they tell you research and political calls are exempt.

This is a new number from the same place that calls me 3-5 times a week from different numbers  saying there's a claim against me. I answered twice and told them that I was on a no call list and they argue with me saying I owe money to some company they won't disclose. I reported them to the ftc and fcc. Just answered again and told them I had asked twice to not call and that they have been reported to both agencies and got the response that the situation would be escalated and hung up on just like the other two times I told them not to call.
Seriously annoying and hard to block when they call from different numbers each time!
