I've been getting calls from the same number for weeks and now this new number shows up. Like you, another number to add to the block list lol.

These people call relentlessly from many different numbers. About 2 days after I put the number on my blocked list, they call from a different one and never leave a message. I have no overdue bills, payments or credit cards, so they can't be calling for me. I changed phone numbers about 2 yrs ago, so I'm guessing they're looking for the person who had it before I got it. I won't answer because that's a major reason I changed my number. They wouldn't listen that I'm not who they're looking for, they wouldn't remove me from the list, and after I answered several times, my phone became flooded with hundreds of calls a week from over 50 other numbers all run by people with Middle Eastern and Indian accents that harassed and even threatened me. My advise is don't answer if you know they're not after you. Just block the numbers as they come in or add them to a contact labeled Don't Answer. I also use a standard voice mail greeting with my number, never my name. Never, ever, let them know they have a live number by answering!!!  If you owe, make yourself aware of the law to protect yourself, never give your credit card or checking account numbers, always request a letter that proves the debt exists and the amount, and never give any personal information such as SSN over the phone. We as citizens have rights, and it's our responsibility to know and understand them, as well as implement them properly. Protect yourselves from these bottom feeding scum!

I receive calls from the 866 580 4780 number. They never leave a message.  After holding the phone for a few minutes someone finally says, "hello?" They also call you early in the morning and the one thing that I dislike the most is the calls on Sundays.

MCM, I got a attorney that shomping  at the bit to sue you ass. Everytime you call sha-shing, it's $500.00 USD! Call me again, okay!

This only works if you are using iOS 7 or newer. iOS6 or older this feature it not available.

Forgot to mention, another option is to create a contact and label it something like Z00 Never Answer (or Z01 and Z02 etc if you get more than one of these type calls) and assign a silent ringtone to it. Granted, you're not blocking the number but whenever that number calls, you don't hear anything and your display says Z00 Never Answer (or whatever number you have assigned to Z). The benefit of having the name start with Z is it will always list these ignore numbers at the bottom of your contacts. You can also google iphone silent ringtone to find one that's already created. Save it to the ringtone folder in iTunes and then just synch it to your phone. I presume you already know how to assign ringtones to contacts?

I like to accept the call then play a p0rn movie on my computer and put the phone next to the speaker and see how long they stay on listening to the grunts and groans and moans and squeals and squeaks and the "OH GOD YES!!!" LOL

I agree. I mean seriously, during my school days last year constantly calling me in the middle of the day not leaving a message or anything. I block the number, 1 day later, a number simaler to it calls me. All of this madness HAS TO STOP!! Cuz i am a busy person and would like to not be called by low life scammers. Ph. I hate these callers😒

Continuous Calls daily This phone number they are calling is owned by my 10 year old son.

Who are they?  I mean other than Midland Credit Management, because they call me non-stop and the only credit card I have I jsut got about 3 weeks ago and I have not used it other than to activate it.

number keeps calling and leaves no messages. It is getting alittle ridicuous.

Got a call today.  I picked up and said " hello" and nothing. I waited abot 2-3 minutes and I heard an Indian saying ' hello, are you there?" I hung up.

If you have an iphone with ios7 you can block phone numbers completely now.

These dirt bags are calling me twice a day on my cell phone. It's Midland Credit Management, whoever the heck they are. I have no delinquent debt and am on the do not call list. I have blocked their number but still get alerts from YouMail because they hang up and never leave a message.

Keep receiving these calls and I asked them to stop calling!

It is kind of funny to myself now that I think about it. These goofy people will try to pull off the dumbest stunts to try to get people to answer their phones. Normally they use 866-580-4780 number when they do their robocalls, but this time I got a 011-866-580-4780 number. Like they must think that we won't notice that all they did was add three extra digits before their actual calling number. If you don't have any debt, then don't worry about it, but if you do have some way overdue past debt, for instance; over five years old or more, then check the state in where you live to see the states statue of limitation. These debt collectors can call all they want, but there is no law that states that you must answer all of these types of calls. People over the age of 70 tend to answer just about every call that comes in. Remember that when they were younger there was no answering machines, no caller I.D., no call waiting etc......., and most of these debt collectors are looking for people who do not investigate anything, so please keep an eye on those older people.

Do not answer it. This marketing business want to know if your phone is active. Even when you answer and said nothing, they are aware that your phone number is active and will sell it to other companies.

I made the mistake of answer it once. No voice or sound came from the other side. Two days later I received a call from 23288463521 (Sierra Leone) right after I didn't answer 1-866-580-4780.

They know that my phone is active, and unfortunately I will start receiving calls from fraudulent companies from now on.

Again, ignore these calls, do not answer them.

getting at least 4 calls per day, no message, I don't have any credit outstanding.  geeze... stop already!
