- RandyFor 3 years, every 6 months or less, I get a call from a collection agency, asking for the same guy, Scott. I have told them I am a private investigator, and there are other ways of finding this person. One girl was actually helpful, explaining that she was from a collection agency, sorry to bother, etc. Lately, this number calls, and there is no one on the other end. Tired of it.
- Call type: Debt collector
- GilliansageI keep getting calls from this number. Luckily I have this app called "Mr. Number" it rings once and hangs up on them after I put them on my block list. Yea they keep calling, but at least it doesn't go to voice mail.
- MichaelI went to their website and got the email address info@fschulmanlaw.com. Went to many opt in email websites and opted them in for all kinds of ridiculous emails. Now they will get emails from EVERYBODY. You should do the same and we can render their email servers, address useless. Maybe then they will quit calling people arbitrarily and verify they are calling the correct party as I HAVE NO DEBT.

- JimSame thing.
Bad connection. Accent. Asked me to verify my name and 1st 4 of Social. Did. Transferred me to another guy. He said 'hello' and then disconnected. Keeping an eye on my Credit Report and banks... - Angela R replies to RCIf you pay the debt, it will be verified. My husband worked for one of these places for a little while. After 7 years, the debt is off of your credit unless you send them a payment. Then it starts over. My suggestion would be to let it go if its been a few years.
- Josue'This is Portfolio Recovery Associates AKA PRA. They buy debt for pennies on the dollar then try to collect it. I beat them in court in 2008, judge dismissed the cases (2). They still call and try to get me to acknowledge I owe them, that would restart the clock and they could sue again. When I feel frisky I talk to them and ask if they understand the meaning of "case dismissed". They deny they know about it and want my attorneys name and number.....I tell them to call their attorney and get it from his office as he was the one to lose the case in court. Very funny as they stew in their own juices. Just put these criminals on the do not answer function of your phone unless you just want to screw with them from time to time.

- Tired of unwanted calls| 1 replyThis is Asset Acceptance. I knew that I had some debt problems several years ago but I am sure that the statute of limitations have ran out. None of my friends have 866 (toll free) numbers. I always answer but never talk to them. After several days, they move my number to the "do not call" pile. Stop wasting your time talking to these people! It works!!!

- TCi've received calls from this number before, which i've ignored every time. today though, they left a voicemail. and i guess the guy doesn't understand the concept because the message is just him going, "hello? .... hello? .... hello?"

- Anthony Rizzo| 1 replyI received 63 call attempts in April from these sumbitches. How do I get off their call lsit? Who arethey? To what government agency do I report them?
- Debtor| 1 replyYep, they're a debt collection agency. I have some old ones that are still in the 7-year range. They've offered fairly reasonable terms for repayment. While I don't take their calls, I'm saving up to actually repay one of those debts (a) because I should and can and (b) to boost my credit rating. Nothing threatening or nasty in their letters.

- Call type: Debt collector
- Debtor replies to Anthony RizzoIf you tell them to remove you from their call list they must, according to the debt laws. Failing that, get their address and send them a registered letter to that effect. After that it's a $10,000 per call fine if they call after 30 days.
- Debtor replies to Tired of unwanted callsWhile you're not required to pay more than three years after last debt repayment or purchase, it's still on your record until 7 years have elapsed. I've been repaying a little here, a little there, but there are some debts (including, apparently, some that these folks service) that I'll only be able to repay by them if I have a windfall. Good luck!
