Called me at 7:14 AM but didn’t leave a message. Legitimate businesses don’t call before 8:00 AM.

    ANGRY
Whatever you do, don't answer. They were calling to reduce my credit card interest or debt (btw, i don't own any credit cards). I answered with the intent of informing them I'm on the registry and the person on the other end decided today was my lucky day to get verbally abused. I reported them to FTC but that's not enough. I suspect these people are calling from India, aside from it being a scam, just do yourself a favor and block the number.

    Frustrated
Called, nothing appeared but the number in the caller id. Doesn't look like they've left a voicemail, or if they did they're still leaving it.

Synchrony Bank. Did not answer but if you have a store credit card, this is likely who they go through (mine is Verlo Mattress, also Walmart and others). No message left so it is probably solicitation to use my card more.

Clearly a scam operation.   Foreign operators refuse to agree to take you off call list, try to pitch the scam, and hang up rudely when asked to stop.   Reported to ftc.gov consumer complaints (they need more reports to block number, so report!)

TOLL FREE CALL called me.  When the robovoice said "This is an important message about your credit card," I hit the BLOCK button.  I called the number and got a very elaborate voice menu for Walmart credit.  Some middle eastern guy picked up the phone.  When he asked me for my name I told him I liked my name and he couldn't have it.  I suspect this may be a spoofed legitimate number, or Walmart is resorting to spamming us.
    • Caller: Possibly Walmart but probably a scam.

Even if It's a genuine Wal-Mart card #, it's obviously been spoofed when they call at 6:58AM, way before LEGAL calling hours. Scammers blocked.

    Disgusted
Card Services pretended to know about my credit card accounts and wanted to help me reduce interest charges. These bold callers Arabic accents must think that they can get away with fraudulent calling forever with no punishment. In a world full of fraud, deceit corruption and lies and very few going to jail for it then we can expect more of this.

Actual number for Walmart MasterCard. Not sure why they called. I checked on my card and all is well. Probably called to update info or sell something.

Caller ID was listed as UNKNOWN. This is a scam; not related to walmart or any other legitimate business. Caller said he was in Utah, offering to reduce my interest rates and adamantly insisted I divulge my credit card info. NOT!  BEWARE!  Folks, if you need assistance with credit card debt, contact your BANK for their assistance - or ask your bank for a referral for assistance. I’m on the FDNCR and I’ve reported the callers number.
