- ANonieMouse replies to Bob>>> It's probably the Obama administration sticking it to the American people? <<<
You need a call from a hospital equipped to handle cases of Obama Derangement Syndrome.
Besides, the number reported is used by a contractor of the state of Indiana for a collection agency. And the last time I checked, Indiana was controlled by Republicans.

- true talk replies to JasonThat is correct. Written notices are the normal communication about tax bills. Collectors are not. Also...no collector can suck money out of your bank or from an employer without a judgement from a court. They can try but it will be illegal because until there is a judgement the collector is only making a claim against you. They can't get a judgement without proper proof of service to you that there is even a case pending. No proof and the case goes away when you ask for copies of notices sent and receipts proving that someone received the notice.
- howardI got the call. Didn't answer it but if it is truly for Indiana Revenue service, I don't live in Indiana and haven't for almost 30 years. No message left either.
