They did levy my bank account and I told them to take the money out and its been 6 days and they still have not done it. I have 20$ left in cash and I am unsure what I am going to do to feed my son and I. The Indiana DOR cannot help because once they turn it over to them they are no longer responsible. I am getting no where and cannot get them to answer their phone or call me back. I am about to go crazy trying to get a live person on the phone and now all my auto payments are being rejected resulting in more fees. There should be a law against this or they should be responsible for my bank fees.

    Very Disappointed
I'm in need for some advice. On May 9,2016, I found out that my bank account had been frozen. I called my bank and they gave me a number to call  (866-808-7288 Premier Credit). I called them and they said, I owe $2584.22.
Two days later on May 11,2016, I went to The Indiana Department of Revenue (IDR) and paid $2585.00 and was told that they will send an email to Premier Credit (PM) stating that I have a zero balance. Well, two days later my account is still frozen. So, I contacted Premier Credit to see what's the problem. They told me that its under review and they only received $2418.90 and that I'm $165.71 short. Now, I became confused. Why would they receive a partial payment when I paid $2585.00 and why I was told that I owed $2584.22 and I added $2418.90 and $168.71 and that comes to $2584.61. It's a .39 cent difference from what I was once told.
Everytime I call PM from the above number, they call me back from a 866-618-1060 number 24hrs later and just get the run around saying that it's being reviewed and still til this day.
As of right now, the amount is paid in full, but my account is still frozen. I still have my receipt from the IDR stating that its paid in full and another paper stating, " NO OPEN LIABILITIES EXIST FOR THIS TAXPAYER."
My question is, what should I do? Should I take the chance and drive 3hrs to Indianapolis in person and show receipts or what? Please help

Just got a call from them today at 4:08 p.m. while waiting on a hurricane (we moved out of Indiana over 3 months ago).  I had a previous issue with a misunderstanding regarding state taxes for filing year 2012 that was taken care of last year (2015), and I even received a certified letter from the State of Indiana having removed the tax lien from my records.  So, it was pretty surprising to receive this phone call now and hear not only that I supposedly owed over $3000 to Indiana for taxes, but that our -previous- address in Bloomington was being used (not our most recent prior to moving out of state).  I informed the woman on the phone that the actual state tax office knows my current address in Indiana, and that I was hanging up on her.

This is low life scammers. Got several calls with hang ups & no messages left, answered to see what was up, women stated she was with the  Indiana department of revenue and I owed $1000.00. I asked for her name & job title, then she change her story to she collects for the state of Indiana. I told her if I owed, I will pay directly to Indiana department of revenue. That's when she started to get mouthy with threats to me, I hung up and blocked calls from this number. This has been going on for over 7 weeks now.

This is actually a legitimate business, who does do collections for the State of IN. Unfortunately they get misinformation for their collections a lot.

    Theresa from Indy
This is the number Premier Credit used to call me.  After leaving 3 messages referencing my business owing taxes to Indiana Dept. of Revenue (that I had closed over a year ago) and a case number, I thought I'd call the Indiana DOR directly to see what was up.  I hadn't received any letters from IDOR so I was really suspicious.  It turns out that IDOR was STILL EXPECTING WITHHOLDING from the business that I closed since I hadn't filed a BC-100 form saying my business was closed.  They had the wrong zip code on my account and all the letters they sent me had been returned to them!  So after figuring out what paperwork IDOR needed from me (for 18 months of payroll that didn't exist, ugh), I called this number back to talk to Premier Credit.  They had already placed a lien against my checking account for the $7300 IDOR claimed that I owed.  Nothing I could do but put the full amount on a credit card to release the lien, then when I fill out all the state's paperwork, IDOR is supposed to send me a refund.  The guy at Premier was actually pretty nice about it, he felt bad that I didn't call back sooner to get it straightened out.  I'm damned mad at the state for expecting withholding on a nonexistent payroll, though.  Anyway, this number is for an actual collection agency.  It's not a scam, but they could be calling your number by mistake or over a misunderstanding like this where I really didn't owe anything but it's the state's error.  I wish I hadn't ignored the first 2 calls, but those messages were so garbled and hard to understand that I thought it was fake.  Oh, well, live and learn.
