Live in Alberta Canada and got a phone call about 2 weeks ago from whoever this is. I wasn't home when they called and they didn't leave a message.

they called and hung up about 10 times...

They keep calling me at least 3 times a day, at first we didn't answer now we have been answering but there is just a bunch of clicking. Verrry Annoying, I want it to stop.

Trying to solocit some Mastercard, maybe?  Couldn't quite understand him.  I thought maybe a nigerian scam at first. but maybe not.

they call every day and never say anything, this is starting to really bug me and it wakes my baby from her naps

This stupid person/business won't stop calling. We're sick of picking up the phone and there being nothing but dead frickin' air. We want this stopped and stopped now. It's harassment.

they called may 29th and left some "hello????" v-m...I get a message from an 866 number at least once or twice consistently....annoying!!!!

I've been getting calls from this number at least once (if not more) per day for the last month. I have yet to pick-up, but from the sounds of it, that wouldn't help to get them to stop calling anyways. At least this site was able to inform me that i am not the only one!!!

These people somehow got a hold of my unlisted cell phone number & call it at least twice daily. I just called the number back, and got an automated system that allowed me to take my number off the list, although it said to "please allow 4 weeks for processing". Hope it works, because I'm getting very seriously pissed off...

It's from MBNA Canada/Mastercard. I have one of these cards, which was inactive. Now that I use it I'm getting these calls sporadically. The last one was such a bad connection that I told them to please call right back...she didnt, so it must be marketing or something.

Got one today - after clicks & clacks on the line - identifying themselves as MBNA and wanting to offer me $ 1M coverage for hospitalization, blah, blah, blah for the "one-time, annual fee of $ 89". Like the nice Canadian that I am, I let it run on way too long. Just say no and hang up. And yes, the number was 0118666297707. This data mining really ticks me off. Thought I'd add to the forum.

They called me, Wanted to offer me a Platinum Credit Card. Well I do not have any dealings with this bank but went along. Somehow they had my name, address, postal code and date of birth. I stopped the call when they wanted to know how long I have lived in my house, who my current employer is and my mother's maiden name. Sounds like someone keen on identity theft to me..... P.S I live in Alberta Also

they Want to know my age, insurance status and my address. It is kind of annoying, i didn't solicit this.

I've had at least half a dozen calls from them this year (including 2 in the past 2 days that I didn't answer).  It's difficult to understand what they're selling due to very strong accents, but it sounds like insurance related to MBNA credit cards.  I just hang up when they start asking about personal info.  Telling them you're not interested does nothing, they'll keep calling back again and again.

i got a call from this number today and they asked for me by my last name.  I was getting calls from that number about once a month and didn't answer and they wouldn't leave a message on my answering machine so i finally answered. I could not barely understand the person on the other end as they had a very strong accent. I told them they had the wrong number and they said thank you and hung up. This website takes the mystery out of "who is that calling". Right on!
