They start to call 2 weeks ago..and they dont stop. Twice a day are more and no one speak on the line? Bizzard...

They call me 3 times .The first time they were speaking chinese . I called vonage they told me that this number was from China 0118666297707.I really want to be out of the list of those people.

I was by the computer when the call came in, after being harassed with 800 numbers before, I checked the number out on this website and saved myself my daytime minutes!!!

they called me today .. he said he is from  mbna  bank with very storng accent.. they already had my name address, postal code.. they asked me my age, my employer, my mother's maiden name . i didnt give ny info .. except my bdate... they gave me a number to call back 1-888-876-6262 at mbna bank . i checked this website later.. m i in troble ?

You can remove your # from the system.
As a Call Center they may have many clients, this call(#) I think is Capital-1 or some other High Interest CC company.

If you have bad credit and need a credit cad try answering the call, they may be able to help you...????

There was an extremely nervous young man claiming to call on behalf of MNBA and offering a credit card with 0% interest and no annual fee.  I said okay and then he started "confirming" information, most of which was astonishingly true.  When they got to sensitive information I said I had to go to work and quickly hung up.  This seems like a scam, but right after I phoned MBNA and they claimed this offer was correct and the people were indeed employees of the company. I still do not believe this and think it's possibly a scam.

They are calling from on behalf of MBNA Master Card.

MBNA Canad Bank offering a platinum Master card.

I have no dealings with this "bank" but they seemed to have enough info about me.  I was rude and aggressive with the rep and he just faltered when I pressed him on where my info came from. After repeating himself about 6-7 times he finally gave me another 888 number to call should i need more info.  The number is 1-888-876-6262.  I have not called it as i can't see how any good will come of it.
Either way the rep assured me that my number will be removed from the list within 60 days, but I may receive calls within the 60 day limit.

It may be noteworthy that MBNA has had previous complaints filed with the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.

It's MNBA Canada advertising their Platinum card but here's the kicker. I HAVE an MNBA Platinum card already!!! I told this to the asshat 3 times and he kept on saying, "But sir, we are presenting you with a very good interest rate". Arrggghhhh!!!

1-866-629-7707 shows on a reverse phone check (at www.411.ca)as coming from Transworks Inc. in Secaucus, NJ 07094.
Their website -- http://www.transworks.com/index.html -- also shows their name as Aditya Birlya Group. Apparently they have 100,000 employees, and I think I've had about that many phone calls at my unlisted number.
Contacts in different countries are on this page -- http://www.transworks.com/contact/contact.html and if someone has a little time, they could probably find contact info for the names listed on their board of directors page. Perhaps we should be e-mailing them six times a day saying stop calling me, stop calling me, stop calling me. (I'd recommend setting up a separate e-mail account for this, since it might result in getting spam from them!)Or, if someone has unlimited long distance plans, perhaps they should be called and called and called...

Got a call to my cell phone from this number, they're calling on behalf of MBNA Canada Bank.  Guy's name was Alim.  Anyway, I'll report to the-cma and crtc.

I have gotten calls from other similar numbers and the same crap happened.  They were selling a cheap interest rate on my existing Mastercard if I transferred a balance to them.  I was really curious, but paranoid, so I called mastercard and they said they use outgoing call centers often, and that was one of them.  I ended up actually giving them whatever they wanted, but immediately after the call, I contacted visa and mastercard and told them there's supposed to be a deposit on my visa from mastercard for the amount of my balance, and it actually all worked fine.  I transferred my balance onto my mastercard, they paid off my visa, and I got a really low interest rate on my mastercard.  But still.... they need to knock that [***] off, I already transferred my entire balance to them, and they continue to call me

I have also been receiving the same annoying phone calls at different hours of the day from 866-629-7707. The one time I did pick it up, all you could hear was clicking. Then when you don't pick it up, they don't leave a message, but keep calling throughout the day.
I called the number back, only to go to an automated voice message. You get 2 options; OPTION 1 - enter your phone number to be removed from the list (which tells you it will take 4 weeks to action your request AFTER you've entered your phone number). OPTION 2 - leave a message and someone will call you back.
I don't know any company that would use this tactic to enlist customers - it's abnoxiuos harassment in my opinion.

866697707 calls a few times daily.  F***in' Annoying!!!!  Each time they call, I call them back to "remove my phone number from their list".

I am getting sick of these calls where nobody answers. How do we stop this?  There must be a way.

Been getting these calls for about a week now, but today was the first time that a number actually came up on the caller ID so I googled it, and here I am.
When I answered yesterday they asked for my hubby (and it came up anonymous on the phone), and I asked them to leave a message "well, there is no message per se, when would be a better time to call back?" I asked who it was, and they said something about being MBNA Canada and it was about his Mastercard. Now, he does have a mastercard with MBNA, but I don't believe that they would call with an "anonymous number". I told them he would be home after 4pm, and the man said he would call back - he didn't. The exact same man called this morning, and again I told them he would be home later...

I told my hubby not to give these people ANY information, I find the whole situation very sketchy.
