I tried calling back the number, busy.
Searched the internet. Nothing. Well... nothing useful anyway.

Does anyone know who this number belongs to? As Heather has mentioned when you try to call the number back it's always busy. I've been getting calls now every couple of hours and it's getting annoying. I suppose they will eventually give up because I refuse to speak with window lickers.

Just got a call on my cell phone from this number with a recorded female voice stating to call 800-521-7747 extension 1 during normal business hours.  First part of message cut off by the voice mail.  I have no idea who this is or what it's about.

This is a call from patient accounts at barberton citizens hospital.

i called it back and its a patient center of some sorts. i didnt speak to anyone because it said all lines were busy to leave a message and they would call back.The message it told me to call back 440-352-7500 ext1. I still dont know who this is

That makes sense to me, after looking over everyone's posts, and seeing Barberton up above, I remember that I was a patient for a workers comp claim at that hospital some years ago.  I called the 440 number and sure enough, I still owe them money that workers comp didn't take care of.  Workers comp will have to settle that with the hospital, but now I understand why I'm getting these calls.  As for the rest of you, if you're from the Akron/Cleveland area and have spent any time in the Barberton Hospital, or one of it's local clinics, that could explain why you're getting a call from this 866 number, if not then I'd say that their computer is having some sort of malfunction (which by the way I wouldn't put past them).  I don't know if this will help anyone, but hopefully someone will read this and it will solve some problems for them.  Have a good one.

billing department for Lake Hospital Systems in Lake County Ohio.  Is an automated message telling me that they have settlement opportunities available for past due accounts.

They say they are calling from a hospital and want money. No money here and they know it. Told them last week not to call or I would turn them in.

Got this number on my cell. Listened to the message-it was half cut off and only listed a phone number to call back. Don't remmeber the number, but it also said ext 1. When I looked up the number, it was for Hayes Green Beach hospital in Charlotte, MI. I have never been there and have no idea what it would be regarding. Called back and all lines are busy.

hospital collection.  apparently I was an emergency contact for a relative and called me when they couldn't get them.

I RECEIVED 5 CALLS DURING MY WORKING HOURS FROM THIS NUMBER YESTERDAY ABOUT EVERY HOUR AND A HALF. I WAS A PATIENT AT BARBERTON HOSPITAL, BUT I PAID MY BILL IN FULL, SO I GUESS I WILL CALL THE HOSPITAL ITSELF. THANKS FOR THE IMFORMATION. I HOPE THIS IS ALL IT IS. I keep getting calls on my cell phone from this number and the voice mail is always cut off.  I have no idea who it is and I do not live anywhere near the hospital mentioned in previous posts.

I let my voice mail answer and i got a woman stating 'this is for sarah, call mrs Kramer at this number'  then she gave me an 800 to call. i do owe a hospital in orrville ohio a small amount of money.... seeing the previous posters did also that must be it.

call this number 440 892 2300 option 3 if you don't get anyone the first time call back and select option 3 again
set up monthly payments. its probably from a hospital bill in the past. they will sue and get their money so my advice would be to set up monthly payments. I did 50$ every two weeks that way they don't call your work and take it out of you check. That's pretty embarrassing if that was to happen i would think..

It's a general collection agency that works for hospitals AND doctor's offices. Get sick and don't pay your bill and these people call 8-10 times a day from multiple phone numbers. And they will call your work # if they have it and your spouses phone # and your spouses work #. Persistent little buggers. Doesn't change the fact that I am poor and can't pay.

This is absurd...there are laws to protect American Citizens and as far as I can tell this company is violating them. Whoever is responsible have been contacting my elderly parents who are on Medicare ten times daily with the same annoying crap despite their numbers being on a national "Do Not Call List". Furthermore, they do not owe anyone money so I wonder if this is not yet another scam to bilk elderly defenseless citizens out of their hard earned money. Karma is a [***]....

This number called my cell phone; did not leave message. Wonder if Cleveland Clinic sent me to collections.

I received a call from this number.  They left a message asking me to call them back.........the name they left for me to contact was my name.  When I called back first it rang busy, then I got a recording saying this is not a working number.
