calls sporadically... 1 time every couple of days ... as soon as i answer they hang up ... no message ... nothing...

I have been getting calls from this number at  least twice a day.  No message is left.  I read the other comments on this page and am still at a loss.  I live in central Ohio and have never been to a hospital named Barberton.  I have no idea what they want with me.  Where are these people getting my unpublished phone number?????

This is a billing service for a large number of ohio hospitals, if you have ever been a patient it is a bill collector for the hospital.

I got a call from this number...have never been to Barberton.  A woman left a message that I should call Teri at 440 847 2784.....no other info.......I think this is ILLEGAL!!!!  UNNIDENTIFIED CALLS left on a voice mail????  I will be reporting them, I have no idea why they have called me.  I know they have called before, thay is why I decided to look them up.  I am NOW GOING TO KEEP TRACK>  It only takes a few calls like this before they are on the hook for a major settelment.  Actually....I think I will start using THIS as my method of memorializing the calls!  If you look up harrasing calls I think it only takes a few times.  An old boyfriend who was an exec at the phone co kept a log by his phone for such things.  He made a record of EVERY unsolicited call because of the few times it took before they were in violation and the amount they had to pay for it!  ; p     I hope they call me again soon!  ; p

I received a call from this number today.  After reading these messages I saw the name HMC Group.  This is a collection agency for the Attorney Generals office and they collect Hospital debts.  I have not had a problem with them calling numerous time.  I have a very large OSU Hospital debt.  I have been unemployed for some time and a year ago was diagnosed with cancer.  I just called them back.  I have spoke with several time over the past 4 months or so and they have been extremely pleasant to work with.  I have been put on a follow up again for January and they are not asking for huge amounts.  I believe they will work with you.

I don't have any hospital debt, I don't owe any money to the Attorney General, in fact, I don't owe anyone except student loans. Yet, this number has called me twice today, within 2 hours. When I answer it, they hang up.

This is a main line phone number for a medical collection service. Not any one particular hospital. the call back number is usually 440-892-2300. Willing to work with anyone that owes the debt and is willing to pay it.

You call them back at866-668-1694 and tell them that you are demanding that ALL of your contact phone numbers be removed, even the numbers of your EMERGENCY contacts, or they will get bugged to, they then have 30 days to to comply.

The jerk who called me had only my information and the name of a hospital that I have been to in the past. I asked what it was for, what the doctor was, who ordered it but he was such a jerk all he wanted was to send me a paper in the mail. I told him I may have had insurance at that time and I needed to look into it. I think it is a scam. IF he cannot say who ordered anything from a hospital to be done to you then how do I know he didn't get my info from a old patient record?!

Stacy, Seems to me another person hit it right when they said they think you work for them. NO response I see. How did you get that number and know exactly how to get through when everyone else could not?

There is a way to keep collectors from harassing your work place. And in fact a reason to sue them back! you do not get honey with vinegar. How would the person be able to pay back a collector when they get shafted from work? Not at all. Your percent of 0 is 0.
