They called me too. They sacred me!!  did they take this further!!!

phoned me today at my job and stated they would be serving me a summons for unpaid payday loans and If I didnt make a payment arrangement with a credit card they would see me in court.  I told them my husband is disabled and I am on SSI and they couldnt touch me of I did owe them money which I dont.  She said they would see me in court!!

someone called me from CCR and left the 866 676 2361 number. they said they would serve a summons to my home if I did not make an arrangement for payment. they also gave a case number to refer to. I don't owe anyone!!! i m glad I found this site . I use it for any number I don't recognize. this is definitely a scam. people don't call u to serve you. they just serve u. don't fall for this.

Sickening it is. I've bn going through the same thing. Talking about they gonna come to my house n serve papers. But the # was unknown that he called from but left the 866 # I googled it n this came up.

Got a call Monday saying I was going to be served papers they were going to go to my home and my place of employment haven't worked since 2009 but they gave me a number so I called it they said I owed $702 from I believe it was a cash advance that I had gotten 3 or 4 years ago. They said they had me on camera. Of course I'm denying the whole thing because I didn't do what they said. I then told the lady I didn't live in that state anymore and then she said that she would see if they would cooperate out of state it then was reduced to $490. Meanwhile my fiancé is in the background yelling and telling me to hangup finally the lady said I would have to go to court and she hung up. They did this to me last year and I feel for it. It was only till I googled the number that I realized it was a scam. The really scared me. And I can't believe people are doing this. I'm also glad to know I'm not the only one. I truly was very frightened.

These jerks called me leaving a threating voice mail saying they were gonna serve me papers from a loan back in 2006 and I asked them to send me a copy of the original bill ( which by law if they can't u don't owe anything, I have talked to.lawyers about this) then telling me if I can't pay see me  court I.laughed and hung up

I received a call today Aug 19th 2014 from a Sandy Miller stating that she is a private locator for the state and that  i would be serve with a summons at my home or my place of employment for a formal complaint against me she proceeded to give me a phone number (1 866 676 2361) for me to call so i can pay off a debt back from 2004. She said i took  a loan from a Quick Mart in the amount of 476.25 and if I don't pay I would be charge 3,000.00 in lawyer fees. First she said I owe 651.25 but that they would settle for 476.25. The ladies I spoke with their names are Sherri and Megan.  They even gave me an account number. And they had the last four of my SS# and my old address. I was so scared that i almost gave them my bank information, thank god to my husband's quick thinking I didn't. I told them that I would call them in morning to pay off the debt so she quickly gave me an extension number of 2361120. And she kept saying good luck, it must be their favorite word because that's all she kept saying through out the whole conversation. OMG they really put a scare on me I was really stressed. ITS A SCAM!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The name of the credit collector is CCI & Associate IDR Firm

I received that same call today August 26, 14. The same exact lines were stated. I call the 866-676-2361 number and soon as i heard cash and credit collector. I hung up. Then I Googled and discovered this forum. What a shame! The Good Luck part was hilarious. Scam scam!.

I also received a message from a "Sandy Miller" today 8/27/2014 from an unknown number and an unknown name. She stated that she received a fax for court ordered summons request that came across her desk this morning .she said that she was a private locator and  She stated the last four of my social . She then claimed that I had one opportunity to contact the plaintiff on this matter BUT unfortunately I was unavailable at this time .She also stated that she was scheduled to come to my house today or my work ( which is very secure ) with the summons  if I don't contact the party who ordered it . She said but that she wouldn't have to serve the summons if I again contacted the plaintiff on this matter . She provided number to call which was 1866-676-2361 if I had any questions or concerns ( which for some reason she got tongue tied or chocked up because lost her wording like she lost her place on a script that she was reading and had to find her place )! and gave me an acct number.  She also said that again I would be summoned if I didn't contact the the number and also wished me luck !!! I got really worried and my boyfriend called said he received an answering machine for check credit company and that the mailbox was full. Which he told me it was probably a scam. be caused when I was young I did use a payday loan service about 10 years ago . Still feeling uneasy , I googled the number and came across this website !!! I got the same call. She used my maiden name which I haven't used for years. She used "Marie Miller" as her name. She claimed they would come to my house or job to serve me papers. I am glad I Google the number. Thank you everyone for reporting on this. I know this forum has saved me money.

THEY CALL EVERY DAY TWICE A DAY NO CALLER ID AND LEAVE A MESSAGE THEY HAVE MY EMPLOYER AND SOCIAL SECURITY NUMBER AND TO CONTACT 866-676-2361.

I just recieved a call from 866.676.2361 telling me I owe money from a payday loan from 10 yrs ago. And he tells me i will be served today between the hours of 4 and 6pm today... And i would need a id to sign for the summons I told him to do what he has to do.. Because statue of limitations has ran out on this loan...I hung up immediately...You will not be getting a dime from know that i have read everyone comments i see they really are scammers..

Just received the exact same call. But they screwed up. Because i let all calls that come in unavailable go to voice mail. Well not even two minutes later another call came in for the exact same thing and they said the exact same thing the only difference they were asking for someone else.

I got a phone call from unkown number but i didn't answer it ..when they left a message . Saying i owe money for a loan and that i got a summons , they need my address to send the subpoena. my phone voicemail save the phone number which is 866-670-2361. The guys name is william martin. But i check the county i live at and there is no subpoena for me. I was stress out because i never got in troubled in my life and he was talking about i got to go to court and it's going to cost me 1,000's of dollars.  The debt collector shouldn't be able to use Apps to hide the number there calling from or act there from the court

I GOT A call from a woman named Melissa Collins saying that CHARGES WOULD BE FILED AGAINSTME and I needed to contact them. They didn't say what it was in regards to gave me some bogus case number under a an Arizona Revised Statute that doesn't exist. What they are doing is illegal and we should all get together and file a class action civil suit against them. I did, and won $1000 for this very thing last year.

This company is supposedly called "Check and Credit Reporting, Inc" and they called about a loan that I took out in 2000??? from CMG something. I told her "Well, I'm not responsible for that so you might as well stop calling me.....dead silence and I hung up.

First, it appears that this company has purchased VERY OLD payday loans or something. I did not take out any payday loan in the year, 2000; even if i did, the statute of limitations to collect is long past the ability to collect; in CA, it's 4 years. see the link and check your state:

They called me and said that this was Check & Credit Legal Services. Case number m l n 13397. I had a complaint against me. This caller said that I was officially served by this call. I called but could not reach anyone.
