#1...Who call you and say that they have a summons for you??? LMBO.. Then if so if your are a real professional why is your attitude so bad from start to finish. If your are trying to collect any type of money that is the fastest way to not get it. People now days are doing so bad they don't care about no summons. Just add that to the list of others and wait in line and hope your get paid. But I filed bankruptcy and they still calling me. I want them to send me something I need to sue someone anyway to get some money. Don't let these people mess up your day. Fuss back with them like I do and they still don't get any $$$... LOL

On November 8,2013, I received a voice message on my cell from this same number. She left the same message you all received, I am a member of Prepaid Legal for over 15 years.  Don't know the law of the land is why I became a member. There are people out there are afraid, remember the Federal Trade commission Consumer Information is a great start to help you in need, if not enough get all three credit reports and please get you an attorney.    

These people are a [***] joke! I received a voicemail that was barely comprehendable so I called back to ask about these supposed "summons" being filed against me. The woman who left the voicemail answered the phone and tried to deny it was her. I told her the voicemail she left made no sense so I couldn't provide her with an account number because I didn't understand the message. The debt she pulled up wasn't even mine! I explained to her that I was the victim of identity theft as a student and the debt she referred to was disputed and closed out back in 2007 (the charge was from Jan 2006). And even if it WAS mine, it is past the statute of limitations for when the debt can be collected on. She got snippy and asked for some proof of the identity theft and I told her to [***] off because I'm not sending these scammers ANY of my personal information. Don't talk to these people are give them any of your information. They are full of [***].  

If I were the neighborhood bookie,  I'd give odds at  100 to 1  that you don't see anything more than perhaps the neighbors dog.

Tell that Beach that it is the collector's responsibility to prove you owe the debt not yours to prove that you don't.
Tell the ole gal to send validation of the ORIGINAL debt in writing and via usps........post haste,   plus proof of her right to legally claim and collect the debt in your state,    and you will then review it and  of course dispute it. (Assuming that she has the cajones to give an actual address to send it to)

I got a call from 1-866-676-2418 and they said I would be receiving a summons on Wednesday between 4-7pm and they used my maiden name, which I havent had in like 10yrs nor did I have the number they called.  I've had this happen before and its people trying to get private information.

This # appears to be a scam. They call leave a misleading message
When u return the call there is no info available unless u have a debit card available to pay a fee.

I got the very same call. Word for word exactly from "Investigator Harper".

In February 2011, the New York State Attorney General announced a settlement with the owner of the Check & Credit Reporting, Inc.  According to the AG, lawsuits and complaints filed against the company allege that they improperly called consumers at their places of employment, threatened consumers with arrest, imprisonment, garnishment of wages, and freezing bank accounts.

The company owner must pay a penalty and must take significant steps to clean up their business practices.

Same as above, some "Investigator Harper" called from an unknown number on my caller ID and left a message saying he would serve me in two days between certain hours and to have a valid ID, that it was in regards to a complaint file against a person with my name (he did call me by my first and last name) and social security number (he did not give my social in his message), and that if I had any questions to call this number (866-676-2418) and he referenced a case number to use when I call. I did not call back and guess I will see if someone shows up in two days...

I just got this same message yesterday ive started to ignore them and not answer because they are all scams to get your money. Ive talked to a lawyer about this and he stated people would not call u and say we're going to serve you legal documents. They would just sue you if it was true that you owed any money. Most of these scams are. related to online payday loan companies and sometimes credit card applications that you've filled out online.

A woman told me she worked for "The County" and I have 2 summons to be served on me for a debt. She gave me the number 866-676-2418 to call along with an account number. She couldn't tell me which county she worked for. This is a  scam that a lot of people will fall victim to.

I just received a call from a "liaison" John Parker stating he was calling to let me know a civil judgement was being filed against me and I needed to call 866-676-2418 and give them my case number to get more information. I told him I would give the information to my attorney to handle it and not to call my home anymore and hung up. He had the audacity to call right back (again from an unavailable number) and said I didn't have to be so rude....I knew this was a debt collection company of some sort. When I asked for his name, his company, and phone number to give to my attorney he became snippy saying he can't give that info out for the firms protection! He then said oh well it's your problem and hung Up on me. Definitely some punk a** debt collection company or fraud. I will be reporting CCR & Associates today!

Received a call from this number and my caller id read -15ca6a9aaba5?  that was weird.. Message read: This Marshal Brown laison from (something mumbled). That my SS# was linked to a summons that he was going to serve. Or scheduled for service. He gave me a reference number and started to give me a number to call (457)98..... then stopped and corrected himself and gave me this number (866)676-2418.  not calling this guy back.

Woww, my debt that they were supposedly trying to get $400 from me, was from Advance America too. They said it was from 2007 & I know damm well that I been paid that off. I told him I wanted 2 see something in writing, so he e-mails this amatuer-looking [***] document that he put me on hold for 5 minutes to go type up. I knew something smelled real fishy, and it ain't no seafood around here. I sure am glad I found this sight. I really hope the streets give them what courts can't; a good ole ass whoopin!!

I received a call today on my cellphone and my home saying his name was Paul William from C an R legal services saying they got a fax and they had my last four digit of ss#saying they will service me at home or my place of work. I had a call about two months ago and thought it was fishy just concerns me they have the last four digits of social. He didn't give the name of the company

Also got a call from Marshall Brown just a moment ago. He was asking for my husband. I was utterly confused. He gave me th same 866# and a case number. I text them to my husband then googled the number he gave.  Also text my husband right away not to give debit or credit card numbers over the phone.
