- Lucky replies to Nameless| 1 replyWas it a long call. What did they ask u??
- Richard replies to LuckyI got the same. It's a quick and painless interview. 3 Minutes after the phone interview I got another robo call from them, this time to set up an interview time at the local store.... :-)
- marieonce again this number has started calling me. I have had 3 calls in the last 40 minutes. I havent heard from them in almost one week and its starting again. Either they say nothing and hang up or you can hear them talking in the background to others. Please do something about this. Im tired of going to the do not call lists and adding my number.
- Ashe| 2 repliesHome depot recruiting center. Got the call today after putting in an application to the HD. Missed the call but called back was a pre-interview. Answer a few questions with the automated system the transfered to a representative to answer some more questions. Real simple questions like are you able to pick up 50 lb boxes, are you willing to travel up to 30 miles, how would you handle situations with a customer, etc ect. Let's hope I get the job.

- JD| 10 repliesI applied online to Home Depot two days ago, missed this call from them so I called this number back. It asked for my partial ssn and zip code to locate my application then transferred to a representative. He asked several questions: Would you work for X dollars an hour? What experience do you have dealing with customers? Have you worked as part of a team to solve a problem? etc.
Entire call lasted 15 mins, good luck! - Rob| 1 replyHome Depot recruitment center. Initially a machine asking typical "Press 1 for so-and-so" questions. Transferred to a person who seemed to talk very quickly, (making me assume she was professional at what she did, or was just reading off a piece of paper). Seemed legit, was scheduled an interview. However, only skeptical part of the process was that towards the very end after she gave me all the information I needed for the in-person interview and was just about done, she asked for my WHOLE SSN. Not 100% sure why she would ask for it, assuming she'd have it from my online app. She claimed it was 1) to verify my person (At the end?), 2) to properly schedule the interview, and 3) for a background check. Seemed a little off to ask towards the end of the process.

- JeffThe recorded message calls about once a month stating “They recently attempted to mail me information that was returned un-deliverable and you need to make updates in our system to correct this error.”
Unfortunately I don’t want anything they are going to mail me; I don’t even want them to call me. I have called the Home Depot HR and asked if they could stop this recorded message…..they said it was a mistake and they would remove my information.
Useless.- Caller: Home Depot
- Joshua arce| 2 repliesHow do you call back for an interview because they called me and the operator answered but I honestly thought it was for something else so I hanged up by accident. So if anyone knows pleas let me know how to call back for the interview.
- PT| 2 repliesSo I have applied to home depot and am I supposed to get an email saying that they will call me or to call them? Or do I just wait for them to call me?
- 12 year HD veteran replies to PT| 1 replyCall the number they emailed you. Never wait for them! Get the ball rolling and good luck!
- PT| 2 repliesWhat if they never sent me an email that I am going to receive their call or that I am to call them?

- ELI received a call this morning from that number....automated voice stated it was a pre-employment screening for the Home Depot and if I didn't have the time to do it I could call back. I took the info to call back cause here's the thing: I completed an application online on Wednesday, got a call from a store manager on Thursday for an interview on Friday. I went to the interview and was offered a job and left there went to take the drug test...now waiting for the background investigation to be complete. So my question is should I be receiving this call since everyone is saying they set up an interview on this call? Maybe the store manager jumped the gun and called me before the automated system had the chance. Not sure what to think.
- DH replies to PTThey love if you take the initiative and not wait on them. You will soon discover some (HR) will call you back and send you an email. It shows an interest in the company and your willingness to work.
