I am a previous employee with the home depot. I was called today to ask why I abandoned my job 6 years ago OMG asking why & I told them it was cause I was told by the ER doctors that I had to leave cause they werent obiding by their note from the ER. I had to go back on another day cause i fainted AGAIN. She kept asking me who I turned in the note to from the hospital told her & she kept saying I waited 3-4 years to turn it in. NO i told her OVER & OVER i turned it in the next morning. DO NOT work for Home Depot HR is HORRIBLE

I literally stay right next (1 min walk) to HomeDepot (LoveJoy, GA), and I've completed numerous applications for different positions for hourly store. Ive also checked online for my application status is good their, but when I call Corp office automated system, all my info go through but then tell me I have no application on file. I had a phone interview with you guys also a in store interview with an manger associate. The interview went really good she handed off the paperwork to a higher up manager and said the next step is that they would let me know if they chose to hire me or not. I received a email from Home Depot staffing Center reference to an application I submitted for a
repair and tool technician it advised that I needed to take a on-line test for this position. After signing on and started taking the timed test the computer I was using froze up. By the time I was able to get back to the Home Depot test site it had timed out and i was unable to answer a number of questions. Is there any chance I would be able to retake this test? If not what options do I have? My access number that was emailed to was 3117429. I had a previous access number that was 177429 with my zip code 77091.

How long after 24hours to know if u get to the next step and do they really call u??
