Customer service rep. from UPS calling about a missing package

Received call.  Caller claimed to be from UPS, and was asking if I ever received delivery of a package appx a month ago.

UPS calling to check about a package. I became suspicious when the caller wanted to verify the phone number and wanted my last name.

As others have said, UPS calling to check on a package claim.

Caller, Mario claimed to be from UPS investigating a  package (from a comapny I have ordered from however I received the package!).
The number he was calling from on my caller ID was 757-591-6001 (VA) not the number he left which was 866-706-6894 x 37512.

Received voice mail at work phone from Veronica. Told me about a missing package shipped via UPS.
I never ship anything through UPS, not even my company.
She said she didn't catch my last name and I need to call 1-866-706-6894 x 37748.
I checked UPS website, and that is not UPS toll free number.

I received the same call from a Vera who is not with UPS. The number was 1-866-706-6894. The seems like fraud!

Received a call from someone claiming to be from UPS investigating a missing package. The caller claimed to be "Sharron" at 1-866-706-6894, x37898. I became suspicious when she refused to give proper information, or a contact name or number at the company proportedly to have started the trace. I was also suspicious when she asked me for my last name but would not provide me with proper information in return. I think this is a fraud...

Got a call from 866-706-6894 from a person who claimed to work for UPS. Pretty much the same story as Chris, but this person gave me the number and extension (x37659). I did not give away any personal info to this person.

Same "mysterious  UPS package caper"...this time related to Perfume World...and 99.9% sure it is a follow up to the likewise mysterious email which I already reported as spam a few days ago

I just received a call about a "shipment of 12 flasks" from 2 months ago. I'm not sure how this scam works, I am not calling the 866 phonenunm to find out. where do I report these people? it's  clearly NOT ups, it's a scam, and judging from this webpage, it's been running since '07.... these people are probably criminals that should get caught.

I just got a call from 866-706-6894 ext.37880 (Nancy).
It is UPS, I did not have to give any info except my name and, she asked me if I got a package from my payroll service, she gave me the sender's name and just told me how ups were sorry to be 2 days late for the delivery. It is UPS and it is legit, she did not ask for any personal info at all.

This is definitely UPS. It's related to lost packages/claims, etc.

What can we do to report this?  it is a way to do so? I receive about 10 call on the same day from Laura.  I just wandering  the Office that search for fraud they do read our post? ....

I Just call the REAL UPS 1800-742-5877 and  866-706-6894 is not UPS I was told by the agent at UPS to report the calls from the 866-706-6894

i just got the same call from a caller id 757 591 6001 VA left a message that there was some issues
with a package in Dec. to please call 866 7066894 ext 37864 Amy and to ref by my tel number. its sound like some sort of scam.

Sharonda from UPS wanting to talk about a package shipped from M&W Warehousing containing metal brackets.  Told me to call 1-866-706-6894 ext 37504.  Caller ID # was from Norfolk, VA.  She said to reference my phone number.  If it were UPS, they would want you to reference the tracking number.
