- Lets sue them instead!| 1 replyHi all.
I am an asian and have also received numerous emails from Michael Smith and his so-called depts.
Sometime last year, I went online out of fun to test a gaming strategy based on probability theory.
I figured that if i were to start my bets with nominal $1 on bacarat [banker or player], and keep doubling each time I lost, I would have 8:1 ratio of winning against the dealer. in other words, either player or banker will have to happen in 8 in a streak to knock me out.
I began with a bonus version and started making up to $2000/- in just 30 mins. When i tried to checkout the money, they said told me that I was not allowed to use the bonus money on bacarat and so the money I made was not 'legitimate' by their policy. I was pissed and asked them how then could I pay on bacarat and they replied that I must opt for no bonus in order to play and be paid. So I agreed and allowed them to cancel all my winnings and replayed all over again!
The game blew me out of a total of $2,500/- [ $500/- charged to my card for 5 times] each putting me in disbelief that a 8 in a streak could happen 5 times on bankers in 10-15 mins!
I conceded defeat and was feeling a little stupid that I was actually playing against a computer and you don't know if the cards dealt were fairly randomised as in real world. Stupid as I thought I was and accepted the loss quietly.
Few days later, I received an email which was very unprofessional in approach and accused me of 'unjust enrichment' ...blah blah the same on things seen on this forum.
I became suspicious and copied all email correspondence to my card company for witness in event of they false allegations against me that I have fraud them. I must say I WAS convinced that I lost the money and a loss is a loss which must be honoured. But what held me back was my question to them on why and how could they had possibly made 5 in a row mistakes in chargebacks to my credit card.
And when I asked for official letter with proper letter head for apologies of inappropriately accusing me of fraud and also a letter that explains why and how the mistakes on their part were done, they went round the bush and refused to accede to my request.
That got me even more suspicious and so I insisted for their letter, but was prepared to pay if they would provide. They replied saying they I should pay first before they would issue the letter and so the dispute was protracted with several more emails of threats and allegations.
Interestingly, one of their letter offered to me a 50% off the outstanding if I would pay up, which I refused as that was not my intention. I wanted a black and white from them because they accused me of fraud when the mistakes were actually theirs and they had admitted of the 5 in a row erroneous chargebacks.
I felt secure regardless of their email threats because all correspondence from me requesting for black and white were copied sent to my card company and are good enough to prove my true to honour those losses.
They suddenly stopped for about 2 months without contacting me but this morning I woke up with yet another relentless attempt to roast me with this email :
Our records show that you still have not repaid back USD$ 2,500 in refunds previously issued by mistake despite repeated requests made by us. Unless you contact us to settle this outstanding debt, we will be faxing to the Police Force all the details of your gambling activity including your outstanding debt with us:
Name:xxxxxxxx
Date of Birth: xxxxxxx
Address:

Since online gambling is illegal from your jurisdiction, we're sure the authorities will be interested in finding out that you've engaged in an illegal activity and that you refuse to repay the gambling-related debts you've incurred.

It then came across to me that something is obviously fishy about this organisation. It never occurred to me to find out more about the background of this company until today and i stomped across this forum with amusement!
After 20 pages of comments about paylines and its feud involving so many people, we can draw a few conclusions:
1) The association between paylines and the online casinos is not of importance. What is important is that they obvious are ABETTING illegal activities. That is why there hasn't been a single case of legal action taken by them.
2) Observingly, they are guilty of 1) illegal casino operations 2) misappropriating card transactions to 'launder' their illegal money through involuntary chargebacks on cardholders and 3) the online casino games are not unaudited as 'fair games'. By that it means that the online games that we have played on their sites might have been unjustly manipulated to their favor. To put it most bluntly, though there is no 'forensic' or science to prove, they have cheated by 'controlling' the odds when you played online. And from all their peculiar actions which vastly contradict the legitimate stance they are trying to paint us, having a lawsuit against anyone of us will open the can of rotten worms in their organised crimes.
Having said and saved as above, I propose that all of us pool up some funds to engage a lawyer to put this group of crime-stallers down with their bids to make dirty money 'clean'.

- Lets Try replies to Lets sue them instead!Ok, I would be willing to try and help get a class action law suit going. Anyone else interested? We have to find a way to communicate with each other that would be confidential. As we all know Payline checks this site and posts up comments that we all know are bull. So how do we notify each other of where we can go to commuincate without sharing that information with the people that we dont want to see our comments?

- Disgusted replies to mike smiths wifes boyfriendThis kind of message is not necessary. Come on this is really inappropriate. We are all on here for the same reason to expose Mike Smith and the casino's that are robbing people, but please don't post this kind of stuff.
- More attempts| 1 replyThey are back at it again here is an email that I received today. These people are still trying to scam people out of money. They need to be stopped. I have forwarded this email to my attorney and he is going to send to the States Attorney's office Fraud Division. I am so sick of this.
Good Afternoon,
I am writing you from Woodsbury on behalf of ECashWorld and/or AquaPay processor for Golden Palacepoker, Golden Palace, Online Casino, 24ktGold Casino, Flaminglo Club.com, Online Vegas, Go Casino.
We are the collection office that has received assignments to collect on debt you created by issuing a charge back after making deposits at one of the above online casinos. to withhold our funds.
Over the last many months you have been contacted to try and settle this debt and have either refused to do so or ignored our attempts.
At one point you were advised that your credit would be impacted and still no response was received. 4 months later, you and many others who are receivng this same email will over the next 4 weeks have your debt reported to all three credit agencies while also indicating to whom the debt is owed, the amount owing, and the fact that you have been placed in collections.
Should you wish to settle your debt before this becomes a reality you must either advise our office by email reply or contact head office of Payline Service at investigations@paylineservice.com. One of our collection agents will be glad to assist you
We have been authorised to accept 65% of your balance as full and final payment. This is turn will ensure that this debt is not placed on your permenent credit record with the negative impacts to follow.
If we cannot come to an agreement then you will not be bothered again but simply over the next several weeks your debt along with others that withhold payment will be reported as explained above.
Any record placed on your credit will be there for 7 years from the date of last activity. We hope this can be avoided but please understand the following:
1) This debt while for gaming can be collected under US law as the purchases originated within your borders. Any claim that we are collecting on an illegal debt is incorrect no matter what the internet may say.
2) We are not able to proceed legally as we do not have legal jurisdiction however we are able to report this as a bad debt to your personal credit history as explained.
I realise that many people perhaps even yourself have argued with our collectors since you were originally contacted. I am not looking to do the same. Should you wish to withhold payment your choice will be respected but our reports will be issued depending on our volume within the next 2-6 weeks.
Please advise should you wish to accept the offer for settlement. If you have already piad, please disregard this notice.
Regards,
Peter Johanes

- Sick of this. replies to More attemptsI go the exact same letter, word for word. So that tells us that this is another mass email on thier part. I am going to contact the credit companies about this threat. I am interested in us getting together and discussing how we can all help each other and stop this crap. But I am not interested in threating them nor I am interested in the childish rants by some on here. I understand that we are angry and sick of the threats, but, I think there is a better way to express ourselfs. Any ideas on how we can share information that the payline group will not be able to view? Thanks and good luck all.
- King Kong| 2 repliesI hadn't checked here in months, and you still are all at it?
First off, are you all so stupid that you think that Susan babe really got a lawyer? No lawyer is going to mess with this crap. Payline is phony and Susan was leading you fools on like a bunch of sheep. She never did jack.
Look Mike, err, Taylor, uh, John, wait, Peter, are all the same tool with no chance of anything.
Just ignore them. Has anything happened to a single one of you?
No.
And nothing will.
Just go on with your lives and these fools will go away.
And Asian dude - what the hell are you talking about? Nice double-up theory. Wow, bet Vegas never heard of that one before.
Learn to spell, and at least keep things shorter. You put me to sleep. - Concur replies to King Kong| 1 replyI'm going to have to concur with you King Kong. I have simply watched the emails (created a dedicated sub folder in my Outlook in box for them) and made sure not to reply to any of them. In the beginning I would check this thread about once a week and then after a month or so....I went to maybe checking it every couple of months. I just counted all of the emails I ever got and they range from June 2010 through October 2010 and there are 7 emails total. Everyone that has posted in this forum appears to have gotten the same emails. I have never replied to a single email and never received ANYTHING in the actual mail....people need to get on with their lives unless an actual piece of snail mail arrives (and that should even be treated with skepticism. Or an actual subpoena...which isn't going to happen.
- FYI replies to ConcurWell I look here on a weekly basis, to see if there are any new updates and also to see when I get a new letter, if everyone else is getting it. That said, its very helpful to know "your not alone", I appreciate the feedback and information that people are posting here.
- H.H.| 1 replyI was also a victim of credit card fraud charges made to an online casino. I promptly reported it to my bank and they took care of the issue quickly and without any hassle. Yet, few months later i get threatening emails from a legal@woodsburyservices.com stating they are going to take legal action against me if I do not repay the money owed to their client, the online casino. The emails were threatening with some valid language, but over all seemed unprofessional and suspicious. They gave no official documentation or information. I was perplexed as to why months after my bank had resolved this issue, that a merchant would be contacting me thru a collection service by email???? Anyway, thank goodness I did a web search of this "woodsbury services and thankfully came across this site and others with an abundance of info about these people running major scams for quite sometime. I have blocked their email so hopefully will not be getting anymore "threats" from these scammers. I will be reporting this to my bank and others such as FTC in hope that yet another consumer complaint will help stop these people. Hopefully other victims will come across sites like this to know they are a scam!
