That's funny, my bill says that number is in CA.  No one ever answers - what's the deal?

credit card fraud. I tunes music store. 4 charges showed up on credit card with this phone#

I also received a charge for $100 from this one, too.  It says that it came from CA and gave me this exact phone number.

I did not get a call from this # but on checking out my checking account I seen they billed me for a dollar for this service which I never signed up for at all. I know it wasn't much but after reading others complaints I canceled out my debit card at my  bank that day.I don't surely want it to escalate into draining my checking account for this crap!!!!

This is the number on my debt card and charged me three times of $103.5 and $51.5.  Man.

Two charges of $200 each showed up on my card.  Fortunately the charge card company called me and stated they thought it was fraud since I rarely use that card.  I'm so mad!

over $700.00 showed up last evening on my bank statement.  apple and i-tunes WILL NOT help you.  my bank, the local police, and the state attorney general are very interested though.  fortunately, my bank indemnifies me from fraudulent charges and formal complaints have been filed with all the law enforcement agencies, credit agencies and consumer protection section of the State Attorney General's office.

do not expect apple or i-tunes to address this at all.  this has been going on for over a year and reported all over the net, but has received no media attention.  

no wonder i never trusted apple...it was just a feeling i had.

I didn't receive a call from them but a $200 charge on my credit card, which was caught by my card's fraud department, came from them.  I find it interesting though that 3 others unauthorized charges on the same day were from Dell.

I have not received a call from this number, but I did try to call it. I tried to call this number due to a $200 charge on my bank statement from my credit/debt card.

If this has happened to you, don't let it go! Attempt to get anywhere you can with Itunes. You may not get anywhere, because I have tried and they don't seem very helpful with this situation.

After you try what you can with Itunes, then take all your information to your bank. Your bank will generally fight these charges for you, if you can give them all the information. Though for the most part you cannot wait longer than 30 days or less.

I've called the number. I've attempted to email Itunes (with a promised reply in 48 hours). In the morning I will be taking this issue to my bank for them to fight. Don't just give up!

Yesterday morning I awoke to several charges of $220, from itunes and one from webhost.  I tried to call the above number, but it directed me to a website, which from there you get nowhere.  I immediately called my bank.  They advised to wait to see if the charges drop off. If they don't drop off, then file a fraudulent charge.  My bank is very good about taking care of the situation.

I got a charge on my cc for $.34 and just paid it.  After finding this website I called and cancelled my card.  Glad it wasn't a big amount like others had.

Got charged four $1.00 fees on my debit card from ITUNES and Apple Online Store, None of which I bought from. Seeing as how I bought it on the 18th and only used it for a day, my memory is clear and I NEVER bought anything from the store or from itunes. Pissed me off and after reading this stuff about $500+ really helped me on deleting the card from my Apple account. Planning on taking it to my bank to decline transactions with the number/ID and hope to never get this kind of stuff on my account history every again. Not good at all.

Yea I got a charge on my credit card with that number.

I too had money taken out of my account on 01-21-2009 from  APL*ITUNES 866-712-7753 CA for 16.73.  I submitted it to my bank for investigation/

I just noticed quite a few charges on my c/c from itunes, only to find that they said it is not them. However, this 18667127753, is not them. I was directed to their fraud department and had to cancel my c/c. The crazy part is that my daughter downloaded free applications and we were charged the .99 cents for each one............This is crazy

I doubt seriously that it's actually Apple that's doing this.  On the same day as the "APL-ITUNES" charge ($1.00), I got a bunch of fake telecom charges from companies in Cypress.  I suspect they're related; check your statements.

It happened to me too, I'm so mad!!!!!!!! who o what the hell is going on that  nobody can stop this!!!!, they took more than $400 of my account, now the bank is investigating, I had not idea how it happened, I never used Itunes in my life, stop this crap!!!!!

I don't know if is Apple or not, but the only thing I care is that the FBI, the police, or somebody who gives a s..t should investigate and do something about it. Like other people I have to cancel my credit card, and not only that my bank is going to take for ever to resolve this, sorry to say but I have a horrible bank, I'm so mad!!!!!!! but I guess with this experience I have to be more careful, is just unfair that people that work and put the money in the bank where your money supposed to be safe have to deal with this kind of crap!!!!!
