They are calling my work for my ex husband. We both live in Utah.

Left me a message on my cell phone.  Called them back and they identified themselves as Utah State Tax Commission and that I owed money to them and wanted me to make a payment.  Did not give them any info and told them I would call them back once I pulled my tax records.  Find out that I didn't even file a tax return in Utah for the year they are claiming.  This is a SCAM

Again calling with one number on id and another to call back.  Trying to locate someone at our address who hasn't lived her for over 30 years.

8667497279 called a work cell phone that we have only had for 2 weeks, this belongs to a business not a single person. Never leaves a message.

Says a confinidential call and continue only if the person if that is you.  Quit calling.  Person doesn't even live at this location.

Identified herself as Laura Perryman, call back number 8667497279. Caller ID number came up as local. She's called before asking for my husband. she also has his cell number. Scary. says we owe Utah back taxes....haven't lived there in over ten years. IRS DOES NOT phone people for collection. A notice in the mail is required. Big time scam here

After going down to make payments at Utah State Tax Commission, and asking them who the*** is GC Services - they told me they are a collection agency that UTAH state hires to collect delinquent taxes.  I made payments at the tax commission office instead of sending them to a third party (at the suggestion of tax commission) , but GC decided to garnish my WIDOWS annuity INSTEAD of waiting for me to make payments to them. I"m on a very limited fixed income, and the payments were all I could afford- now because of their garnishment, it's put me so far behind on my regular bills, they just took my outside garbage cans away.   Take them seriously, they mean business - and don't care if you lose your house.   They are after blood.

Pam - Contact a lawyer.  In Utah if you are making your payments then they can not garnish your income in any way shape or forms.  You can sue them to get the money back as well as any damages they have caused by doing so.

Some woman named Laura keeps calling my mother in law for my ex-husband. And yes I said calls my new husband's mother  to speak with my ex-husband on his taxes

calls every day and doesn't leave a message. This is a work cell phone and no one here knows who this is and no one but employees have the number.

dont bother replying f you don'y know what you are taliking about. It's an IRS scam

It's actually a debt collector (that works for the Illinois Department of Revenue) I owed some taxes and that's what they are probably calling about.

Other posts say this is a debt collector.  Bogus or legit, debt collection is NOT covered by the DNC registry.  This was made clear in the description of the DNC list when you registered.

At first I believed this was a scam number because caller ID had 7734094803 (which I checked via 800notes post comments stated scam) requesting me to call back to the 8667497279 with no info for why I should call back (still haven't).
   After reading all post for the 866 number, I recalled receiving a letter from GC Services Limited Partnership (it was in Dec) which I ignored because I was making payments via IDR (state taxes) website.
  I retrieved the letter which included the phone number 8667497279 but not the 7734094803. They started calling in Feb 2016...WOW! I will continue payments via IDR website, totally ignoring third party GC Services.
   Not a scam number!
   Third party collection agency.
