You borrowed from your family to get out of garnishment? Not buying it. If that money was there before, you would have used it earlier. Nice try anyway.

We never receive a message on machine.  They are calling every relative they can.  They are stating that they are a law firm and need to contact me.  This is beyond harrassment.  With the economy now days they cant keep trying to suck blood from a turnip.  They are playing on our family's loss of our son in a tragic accident.

Hope everyone reads this and understands.  There are legitimate reasons for not paying on time, but there is no excuse for just "not paying".  There is always a way of working out your debts.   Yeah, you can go to Bud Hibbs for his help if you chose to be shady about it, or you can try and work it out however you can.  Bankruptcy is one option if you lost a job, divorce, or medical issues that prevent you from being able to make your bills.  Some of the creditors will settle your debts for you for pennies on the dollar.  You see, bill collectors love a nice lump sum payments and eventually you can talk to someone that will take it.  You stand a much better chance of getting a settlement if you have cash in hand before you make the call and be prepared to make a firm offer, get a letter stating the settlement amount and the date it's due and make sure it's paid on time or that void's the arrangement.

The most important thing to look at is...It's not just a Credit Card, or a Bank with deep pockets...It's part of our bad economy...How do you think we became so far in debt in our country...Hmmmmm...Yeah, you guessed it...People not paying their bills, companies going out of business, people losing their jobs, and not being able to pay any of their bills...It's a vicious circle in our society.  Credit should be used to make you money, period, anything else is just not neccessary.  Save your money and pay cash.

Bit of advice from some one who has been there and done that and now collects from those who are still there and still doing that...

If you can't pay for what you have now, don't get into more debt unless it's going to benefit you in the long run.  You can save thousands of dollars from what you owe if you are willing to sacrifice your credit to do it.  There's always a price/penalty.  It's up to each and every one of us to be responsible with our spending, especially with our economy the way it is, and if we ever want to get out of it.

God Bless all of you who pay on time, but thank you to all of you who don't because you keep me employed...Happy 2009

we arent mean, we do what the law allows us to do. if you call there and want to pay it, we will work with you. lets us know whats going on we will do what we can. you can settle the debts for 30 to 50% on the dollar depending on what your situation is and what your credit report validates as well. people that complain that they are rude, mean this is 2009. you dont think we all know all you have to do is google things and you have the laws right there at your finger tips. we have familys to support as well, so we arent going to do things that will get us in trouble. so for people to say things thats just stereo typical and weak. call us we will set up payments. i have people paying as little as 5 dollars a month up to 15 20 thousand a month. the problem with the economy is people arent paying there bills. so dont force a atornies office to garnish your wages at work. call us lets work it out.

I keep getting calls daily from this number asking me to call them back concerning "Jason French", no such person in this household, so I do not call back. I am sick and tired of these calls and want to stop them. I am told it is a law firm but I have never heard of them nor do I have any outstanding debts.

They have called two days in a row and asked for someone with the same last name but no one by the name they are asking is in our family. I called the first day and they told me I would be taken off the list for calls. I come home from work and have another phone call from them and for the same name. How stupid are they? They just state to have (name) call them - no reason as to why. They ask to have a return phone call made to 866-826-4101 but the phone call comes from 602-274-9911

Why do you respond with all your mispellings and poor english. If your work for them you are a very poor respresentation of what we would be dealing with. Why after phone calls are made to this company do I still receive calls for someone that is not even in my family. Besides when I do receive a call or return a phone call the number seems to be answered by a phone bank, it is much too noisy to be a lawyer's office. I think this is nothing but a scam and I am tired of being called constanly with a message being left on voice mail.

Received a message stating to call 866-434-4101 yesterday.  My caller id stated the phone number was 615-345-6300 (area code for TN).  Last night I received a second call from this same number but at 1:30AM!  Isn't that against the law?  I was sketchy so I looked the number up first and found this website.  I don't owe anything so I called the 615-345-6300 number in which it told me that extension 202 was not available.  I called the 866-434-4101 and it asked me if I wanted to active my card push "1" otherwise push "2".  What was that all about?

They found you by your social security number.  Exactly how did they manage that?  Asked the IRS???

You found out you were being garnished when you got your paycheck?  No summons, no lawsuit, no court date?  Just got garnished?

You actually expect anyone reading this to believe that?

my social is what gave them the copy of my credit report and thats how they find you. in the state im from and most states  they can serve you by publication. meaning that it was in the paper. i dont read the paper, i look at the internet so i didnt know. it was called a default judgement because i didnt appear in court, i didnt know there was a court date. then the judgement was sent to my employer. my employer didnt notify me (they are not obligated to) and when i got my check i realized it was short. i went to the h r department and they explained. wow some people on here really give incorrect advice.

The only people who can garnish your wages is the federal government.  If you don't pay your credit card bill too bad, they can ruin your credit but they cannot garnish your wages.  There used to be a law against usury, but they allow the credit card companies to treat us like dirt.  Those who pay off their debts are referred to as "Dead Beats", and these companies use that term like a mantra.  Ever try to read the terms and conditions on the back of a credit application?  Even those with a Masters Degree from Harvard can't interpret that mish mash; it's nothing more but deception and fraud.  These criminals target people with bad credit ratings and market directly8 to them with the hope of forming a life long relationship.  I had a friend who ran his business the same way, he was a drug dealer.  They are nothing more than a loan shark when they charge customers 30 percent interest.  The only reason it is not criminal is their parasitic lobbyist have penetrated both sides of the aisle in Congress.  The credit card industry is more profitable than McDonalds's, Microsoft and Wal-Mart.  It's nothing more than a multi-billion dollar racket that has been approved by the government, thanks to the lobbyist.  What these companies don’t want anyone to know is that of the thousands of industries tracked by the Better Business Bureau, the Credit Card industry is number one in customer complaints.  They don't want the public to know that they deliberately target those who cannot afford to pay off their debt.  These poor "revolvers" don't know that with just one late payment their credit card rates skyrocket, as high as 30 percent in millions of cases.  And if the poor person even just inquires about leasing a car they raise the rates.  With the millions of people filing for bankruptcy the credit card companies got Congress to change the laws in most states to make it more difficult to discharge credit card debit.  The credit card industry is nothing more than a bunch of hyenas crunching on the bones of the poor.  That stench you smell is the foul order of the credit card companies conducting business.  When Credit Card Company’s act like business corporations should maybe the people will have a real opportunity to pay their debt at a reasonable rate, as it should be.
