The atty's also work together, for instance if you live outside of their state they can and will forward your account to another attorney office to file suit of you and they can file suit on your unpaid credit cards they can garnish your pay checks and they can legally garnish your checking account the only time that garnishing your checking accout is not permisible is if your only income that goes into that account id ssi afdc or social security or retirement checks also your property could also have a lein put on it. so your information is incorrect

I get the same thing all the time.  Creditors calling my business office looking for someone that may have worked here a year ago.  I usually end up sending them a certified letter because they do not follow through when you ask them.  It almost seems that I get more creditor calls than business calls anymore. The economy is getting very strange!

Ok so this law firm is calling friends family work and everyone. # 1 i am not the only person in my family with my name # 2 i had identity theft # 3 they r hounding everyone but me! so very irritated right now! i have never got a letter or a phone call from these people. I have no idea what they want or what it is regarding! i believe if this was real i wouldve received something in the mail or a phone call but they are harrassing everyone i know, as i said the person with my same name knows all these same people. They just assume its me because ive been in the family longer

depends check your states  law cause their is a time limit where they cannot collect and if has to be taken off your credit. they are NOT allowed to call you at work it is a form of harressment never let collections push you around.

I have been getting harrassing calls from this company for the last few months. This company claims to be a law office of Joe Pezzato. The rep by the name of Amber is harrassing myself along with my co-workers. I received an alert on my credit report stating that someone had pulled my credit and it was them. They pulled my credit on 8/2/11. They are calling from 1-866-826-4101. This is another that they call me from CA/JOE PEZZUTO LLC-172 4340 S MONACO ST DENVER , CO 80237  (303) 296-3345. This is what was shown on my credit report. I have informed the Louisiana State Police Department, the better business bureau, and the Federal system. This is beginning to get ridiculous.

That's not true for everyone especially if you work for the Federal Government.  U can not garnish a FG workers check without their knowledge.  The collectors will have to go through the courts to get legal documents to garnish a check.

Everybody wants to be a lawyer but giving wrong advise.

They called me just now, I answered, an automated voice said hello and hung up. What kind of piece of [***] operation is this? That is basically a form of harassment, really. A hangup call is harassment.

This dead beat attorney called me several times last year on my cell. I have ZERO debt and they were looking for someone else that used me as a reference or something. I told the [***] on the line to get lost and don't call back anymore. And they continued to call until I made several nasty telephonic/online threats.... Very Rude!   When I called back, they wanted my name before they even told me who they were.  I wasn't going to do that, so I pressed about who they were.  They said "an attorney's office"  I asked what attorney, to which he simply replied "Joe"  Really?  no last name?  He kept asking for my name if I wanted any help, and I gave him my first name.  Reluctant to give my last name, because I still didn't know who or what these people were about, he said "Are you going to keep playing mind games with me?"  I ended the call to do some internet research.  once I found out it was a debt collector, I called back to give my full name.

On the second call, and with my full name, He explained the nature of the call.  he asked for my husbands phone number and wanted to know if my husband was aware of the delinquent account.  I told him Yes, my husband knows about it, but his phone number was irrelevant. this is MY debt, not my husbands, and I gave them MY cellphone number.  Again the collector pressed for my husbands number. Apparently  getting my husbands number was far more important to him than trying to resolve the debt issue.   I asked him why he needed my husbands number, to which he replied, "I will just find it myself, bye!"  and hung up on me.

Oh well, I hope they keep up their rude and bullying attitude I live in a one party consent state for recording calls, so they all get recorded too.

I have no debt with these losers and they will not stop calling. I have asked nicely, I have yelled and screamed, I have hung up, I have called them back. Anything a reasonable person would do. I am now angry.
