Answering machine message was an automated voice advertising "MerchantCircle.com" telling us to go there to receive our rating.

Judging from previous comments, this phone number must be a filter screen number through which many companies can call to keep their identities and return numbers hidden....either that or a boiler room for many spam companies.

Now it belongs to " Emily's List " saying to vote for Hillary Clinton . It is a pre-recorded message. They have already called twice and i listened to the B.S. both times thinking they wouldn't call back...But they WILL!!

GOT A CALL AT 12:20 AM WOKE UP THE WHOLE HOUSE.  THESE ARE NOT BUSINESS HOURS. CALLS AT THIS TIME ARE USUALLY BAD NEWS. WE ARE ALSO ON THE DO NOT CALL LIST. THESE PEOPLE SHOULD BE PROCECUTED!

This is the weirdest thing I've ever heard! Got a call from this number this morning. Picked it up, said hello, heard myself saying "Hello" back. Said, "Yes?" Heard myself saying "Yes?" Said "Hello" again, heard myself saying "Hello" again. Everything I said was parroted back to me, in my own voice. It wasn't like an echo on the line - it was like my voice was being recorded and played back to me. Very disturbing! I tried calling the number back, got a recorded message saying, "You have reached the voice messaging center. If you're calling because you missed our call, please hang up. We'll call again later." They'd better be ready for an earful when they do!

They called my house at 1:48pm Central time and left a message from "Mike Huckabee" asking for my vote.  I guess political campagins don't have to abide by the do not call list either!

I did the same thing.  If you follow the message and push 1, and then verify your phone # then push 1 again...they promise to remove you from their list.

Called this afternoon. 4:12 pm. Didn't answer because I do not know the number. Left a voicemail. It was a recording of Chuck Norris campaigning for Mike Huckabee.

Called at 7:10pm, luckily Privacy Manager got to it first!  It was a political call for John McCain.  Seems as though since we switched phone companys and our phone # is no longer private we are getting political calls out the a$$!! This has got to stop!!!

I have  no idea who this is.

If they are calling at 3 AM, they are officially outside of the calling hours (duh) and can be charged with harassment.

received 2 calls we answered the first one there was nobody there and no noise, we listened for about 3 minutes nothing. We hung up. Not 3 minutes after hang up they called again and this time is was a political call about Mike Huckabee was going to be in Winchester, Virginia...... No way to tell them not to call here again ever.

These calls are annoying at least, but rude, interruptive and unwanted. It seems the "do not call list" doesn't apple to politicians!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Two calls at 1.25 and 1.35 PM (Italian time); only five beeps, nothing more.

I got it too :) 866-849-3243 I do need to pay Macys bill...next time I will answer the phone.

keep getting 2 to 3 calls a day from a fax machine, the last has shown on caller ID as 1-866-849-3243

I receive an average of 3 messages a days that when played sound like a fax machine trying to send a fax to my number.

I beleive this to be another type of spam mail, this time over the fax.

The only way to be sure is to connect a fax machine on my line and wait and see what scans through.

I Phone company should find the perps make money by issuing them fines.

I got this call and it states it's for a political candidate (I forget their name).  This phone number is being blocked thank you very much!

I received a call Wed. Feb. 27, 2008 about 12 noon PST.
The caller said they were a company that wanted me to advertize my business on Google.

My call is different from the above remarks.  I don't have a "business". I figured it was some scammer or something. I have been on the "NO CALL" list since it's inception. I didn't listen long-enough to be more specific, but thought I'd share. I get really "ticked" when I am bothered by business callers.

I am on the west coast, never been in a Macy's store, and have never been late on anything, and RETIRED, so my call is different.
