I'm getting war dialing from them. I just filed a Form 1088 against them with the FCC.

I got this call 3-13-08 at 10:20am at work. It said that:"Someone doing a GOOGLE search wanted to reach" me to do business with.  If I wanted to know who the "Potential customer" was I had to go to the website:
Merchantcircle.com and enter my phone number to see who wanted to do business with me.  Okay....if someone Google's my business obviously if they wanted to get in touch with me my phone number comes up as well so why do I need them? I went to the website - they want you to sign up for service of course.  Here is the kicker - they have this electronic device call you and give you this message, however in WA state THAT IS ILLEGAL AND CARRIES A  $500.00 FINE PER INCIDENT. You can bet I am going to write them and advise them that the way they are contacting people here in WA is ILLEGAL!  And who knows, if it starts costing them some money$$ perhaps it will STOP!

i was on my cell phone and it keep calling  i  tryed to switch over   and it said sry this call was ment for a anser mach and then hung up   before it called me i did not get to it and my cell   made the i have a mess sond  but no  mess  could it be a virse

I got this call on my cell phone. It was a recording that said it was meant to be to an answering machine then it hung up.

These people have called ten times from 6:21 p.m. to 6:55 p.m. I HAD a Macy's card years ago. I paid the thing off and have NEVER used it since. I am glad to know who this annoying number belongs too. Who do you turn them over to? We have this number on the national no call list PLUS this number that they are calling was NEVER attached to the Macy's card when we had it.

oh my gosh i got the same exact call for the past couple of days. Saying too it was macys since i do have a acct. with them I was concerned called the number and it was nothing. Still very concern about everything I checked my acct and everything was good. They called so many time in the morning that I thought it was a serious issue, THanks nicky for this now I know not to call them back

There was a wait before a man came on the line and said "hello".  I said "hello" again and he repeated it.  It sounded like my brother and I asked, "Bill"?  He said "Who do you think?"  In the background somebody was ordering a sandwich/hot dog...I heard them ask for onions and sourkraut.  I told him that he could tell me who it was or I would hang up.  When he didn't tell me who he was, I hung up.  

This is the second call from that number that I have received in the last week.

Like someone said, apparently this is a company who is making calls for lots of other companies. I just got a call from the number in response to a job I applied for with Kellogg. It might be hard to get them in trouble, since some of the calls they're making are actually legit.

They are making calls for Macy's. If my bill is ever ONE day late, they call and leave a message on my machine saying "Hello, this is NOT a solicitation. This is a call from Macy's for (my full name) that requires your attention. Our hours of operation are 8 am to 9 pm. Once again, if this is (my full name), please return this call toll free at 1-800-511-3207, or visit us on the web at Macy's.com. Thank you." This has happened to me two or three times so far. Sometimes they hang up and don't leave a message, but this morning they left the message on my machine.

Is this fake? Got a call from this number saying it's MBNA Fraud Department that needs to speak to me, but I'm pretty reluctant after seeing this page.

When will they stop calling??? There should be a regularoty body that can stop this unwanted annoying phone calls...

3 calls received on my business line from 9:15 to 10:14 AM. I do not have a Macy's card so I do not know why I was being called from this agency. I have called the number listed earlier in this thread (866-793-7480) and successfully removed my number. We shall see if I really stop getting calls from this number.

Automated call reminding me to vote for a certain candidate.  It's 12 days to Primary day here in PA.  This number calls every other day.

Received several calls from this #. Leaves a message about women for politics, but they don't endorse anyone, except another voice comes on and it is in support of Sen. Clinton. Have received this call 3 times in the past 2 weeks. Called # and you can have your phone # removed. It is a call center. Have to listen to the prompts.

Looks like the scumbags at www.merchantcircle.com are at it again.  Automated call saying someone left feedback about your company.  Slimy doesn't begin to describe this outfit.

Received a call from this number today!!  I am on a do not call list!!  I have read the other notes about this number.  I do not, nor have I ever had a Macy's card.  Since I did not answer this call, I do not know what it was about.  I am tired of telemarketers calling a number that is on a do not call list.

Based on reading all the other calls people are getting from this phone number I see that it is a scam!  They need to be reported to the FCC from everybody.

Don't believe that they are going to remove you from their list.  I am on a do not call list to begin with. I believe this is a scam and they have no interest in removing anybody.  They need to be reported to the FCC.

We are all getting calls from this number with different recordings and such.  This is a scam and they need to be reported to the FCC.  Do a search for "Do not call list Report calls"  or something like that.  

I am not sure what these people are doing.  I don't know if they are collecting verifiable phone numbers and selling them and/or phishing for personal information.  Either way, report them and keep posting your calls on websites like this so that others can see what is going on.
