I have recieved this same scam in the mail, several times, I called once to check it out. They are trying to sell you magazines, at a high price. They are harrassing people over and over via mail. They're very sneaky, so BEWARE!

Same here this nothing but a dame scam. I like the notion of to the trash it goes.

Yes.  I, too, received a NME Prize Disbursement check in the mail stating that I had won $2,100,000.00.  I was to call 1-800-687-9411. Their address on the check is:

I googled the company and found this site.  I will not call them.  They should be ashame!

I guess they're at least creative with the entry code #'s as mine is different...730481942...the phone # is the same one though. I've received these in the mail a number of times and just thrown them away. This time I googled them just in case...you never know now do you? :) I thought maybe it was the distribution organization for some sweepstakes I entered...Publisher Clearing House maybe, and I've won before and just thrown it away?!? NOT! Wishful thinking. I wish there was a way to scam them right back...legally though :), but now if I had a sick deceptive mind as they clearly do, I'd be most likely working for them?  TeeHee! On to my next piece of scam snail mail & email.

There's no such thing as a free meal!  I received my notice and promptly disposed of it via the nearest trashcan...

They say that win some money

What a joke!  I received this in the past at my old address, so I know this is phony.  Bascially, this National Magazine Exchange company get your mailing address and name from your major credit card company.  If you have good credit, this NME company will send you this bogus fake $2.1 million check in the mail with a 9-digit ID# and a 1-800 number to call jsspatent@gmail.com. All the other guy at the end of the phone will ask you is what would you do if you won $2.1M and further ask if you want to purchase a one-year subscription to a particular magazine.
