- AbbsI am geting calles from this number and never asnwer but they have called me 2 in to days. I wish they would stop calling.
- pop popInteresting calls to say the least. Picked up the first and it was a recording for someone to contact the office. Called an hour later and asked to speak to a female.
Played a game at first to get more information from them and finally the caller got frustrated and hung up.
I am tired of getting calls from people who are obvious in their tactics to get your personal information over the phone.
I have even requested them to send me the information on the owner of the account with my signature and of course for a while they stop. Then call from a different number.
To harraass people for the amounts listed must cost them a fortune in phone bills.- Caller: ccs

- meela| 1 reply......sooo maybe u should pay ur bills if they continiously call u. Or maybe let them know they have the wrong # rather than bitchin @ them n ab out them. They r just doing there job! Also u don't need to sign for an insurance policy! U cld get one over the phone or online. So no signature needed. Psst when u cancel a policy as well be awre of the early cancelation fees....they r real. Also if ur car is registerd. Then u r required by ur state law to carry insurance on ur vehicle, if for some reason u cancel the insurance u need to return ur plates and obtain a reciept with that date on it. Keep it for ur records cause if ur insurance for w.e reson doesn't cancel on the correct date and u don't have other coverage. Than u ARE responsiblr for that covrage. How ever long that maybe. I know it sounds stupid. But its ur state law. Its not there fault. Its urs and the insurance agents. They didn't write ur policy. And they aren't the billing company either....hence collectionsss.

- mrs_shylucas replies to LindaDo you remember what number you called?
I apologize if that was a little to forward...
I'm asking because i got a call and it wasn't so prerecorded message. This guy actually knew who I was and my husband. But because I didn't know him I had asked him to state his business with them but of course he wouldn't. So I Googled the number and read how it's a scam. I'm curious to find out what he wanted...
I'm replying to your comment because you said that you called them back (if I'm not mistaken) and wondering what number did you call..
Again,
I apologize...if you don't remember or for bothering you
Please by all means have a blessed day! - lannm replies to 'bkay'I am getting calls on insurance that I cancelled also I was dumb enough to go ahead and pay but guess what the calls are still coming in my insurance was with Farmers Insurance I never had this kind of trouble with Alfa!
- dtswould not identify their selves wanted to talk to wife. VERY RUDE!!!!
Will call BBB and Department of consumer affairs if the call is repeated.
WARNING DO NOT GIVE THEM ANY PERSONAL INFORMATION!! Ask for any contact to be in writing, with signatures and phone numbers with REAl people.- Caller: NOT PROVIDED
- LAMETHas anyone actually called Nationwide and asked them?
That would the logical place to start don't you think?
My guess is its a scammer who got info from old customers, BUT IF YOU DON'T CALL THE ORIGINAL CREDITOR AND ASK ..... - Telephone NaziThey called, knew my name (scary) and my insurance company (somewhat they knew the company it is a branch of). If you care, it's Victorian Auto insurance, which does nationwide and titans auto. I actually got a rep and I acted rather burnt-out to just piss him off. He said I owed ~$100 and asked for credit-card payment capabilities via phone. I said no and he gave me an address. If you wish to take action, such as legal, or less suggested ones that I shouldn't name (such as going near there if you're in the area, sending stupid letters filled with coupons or other fun stuff, or black-faxing) then follow the same steps to obtain their contact info.
If you care why I "have debt", it's because my insurance was canceled due to non-payment because the company was too lame to take money out of my account-twice. I'm at my 3rd different policy with this company due to this problem, which is more than enough proof to absolve my debt. I doubt that any official, legal action could be taken if it was the companies own fault.
In conclusion, I suggest that this is some rather fancy scam that obtains information from select insurance companies. I also suggest taking this up with federal organizations, as I doubt you could get anything out of your (former) insurance provider, nor out of this caller itself. By the way, the company is listed all over this page if you want further research.
To any further complaints one might post, please include any previously canceled or used Auto-Insurance companies. So far, it seems like Farmers, Nationwide, and Titan insurance are the big sources.- Call type: Debt collector
- Problem being.. replies to meelaResearch other posts, many seem to have valid reasons for not having this debt. Also, the fact that they're months late on contacting people is quite suspicious. Also, the fact that my insurance provider that I apparently owe money to suggested I disregard this call is suspicious.
