I need to advise ALL of you that this company is JUST a COLLECTION AGENCY! Anything that is of CIVIL matter, you CAN NOT GO TO JAIL! This company claims to be a law firm and they use strong arm tactics which are in violation of the FDCPA (Fair Debt Collection Practices Act). They tell you that a summons will be issued to your home or place of business if you fail to contact them with in 48 hours! This is nothing but garbage! The case #'s are really just their account numbers. If you get a call from them regarding a relative tell them you don't know where they are and hang up! DO NOT LET THEM INTIMIDATE YOU OR TRICK YOU INTO GIVING YOUR LOVED ONES INFORMATION OUT!!!!! JUST HANG UP ON THEM OR DON'T ANSWER THE PHONE!!! hope this helps....

these people call my brother my sister inlaw my daughter my friend i haven't talk to in 20 years they told my brother i had a bench warrnt they told my inlaw i had to be in court in two hours they told my daughter the police was going to pick me up in a hour they had my family upset i got scared i was in the hospital just had majior surgery and this is the news i got when i wroke up i was going to jail so i call the next day and told the man i was in the hospital can i take care of this later he said call monday when i get home so i did  but guess what the credit card was for frist he said 1999 year then he said the year of 2000 but it to late to get a dime off that card it over 7 yeard old the card limit was only 250 but he wanted 1073.00 but i could settle for 354.05 so confuse don't know what to do can somebody please help me i don't have no income i haven't work in a year i was ill snice last year in may im fighting breast cancer please help i can't get these people no money i don't have it

This really is getting ridiculous.

They have been calling for over four months, and everytime they say "if you do not contact us within 48 hours, you will recieve a summons from your Sheriff's Dept..."

Then do it already! This is getting out of hand; they call at all hours of the day, and call repeatedly (I don't answer the call). I have been unemployed for four months, and am surviving off of Unemployment and Food Stamps... this really is adding to my stress. I have already filed a complaint against them. Is there anything else I can do? I want these calls to end.

I have been pestered for weeks by this number. I actually fell for it because they are tapping into your credit report .com and getting actual files that you might have defaulted on 20 years ago. Then I talked to my lawyer and he said not to pay something like that because as soon as you do it goes back on your record for 7 more years. The fact of the matter is.. these people are not even legitimate bill collectors.

If you get call from this office, don’t panic, DO NOT agree to anything. Just ask them to send you a letter with the following information as per “Fair Debt Collection Practices Act”

1. The amount of debt.
2. The date of debt.
3. The name of the creditor to whom the debt is owed.
4. Name and address of the original creditor, if different from the current creditor.

Check your free credit report from https://www.annualcreditreport.com to see if any collection is listed. It you think it is a valid debt and you want to settle with any collection agency, get a settlement offer in writing and then send them a money order or cashiers check. Never give them your financial account information.

This company mostly call for very old debt. Most states fall within a three- to six-year statute of limitations range for collection. I have received several calls from this office regarding a debt from 1996. They have never sent me any written notice. Also when I call their telephone number (1-866-949-9516), the person who picks up, states that law office of Fredricks, Goldstein & Zoe. But I have searched and no such law firm exists. After receiving several calls, I send them a certified letter to provide proof of the debt from 1996. Never heard back from them.

First, get ahold of a keyboard with a working . key and go from there. Secondly I'd advise reading back through the last few pages of this where people very clearly give you several options on how to resolve this.

Come back again if those two fail you.

I received a call from this number claiming 90% of the other complaints made on this number in these posts. After a bit of arguing with some man Hung I up on the guy after explaining I did not authorize any check. He immediately called back. claiming I must listen to him and he was going to say what he had to say. He claimed I was acting dumb. I told him every other sentence he told me was incomprehensible he put me on a music hold and some woman came on continuing the subject. 1 interesting thing she told me was she had to contact their attorneys to have them file criminal charges.... Ummmm how dumb do they think I am? claim they are from a law firm and eventually telling me they had to contact their attorny to go ahead with the civil lawsuit... dumb dumb dumb... I thought they said they were a law firm duh!!!!

I got the same call today only they called my mother and upset her.  this is not legal and I am reporting them to the better business bureau and the consumer protection agency.

Well first of all I would like to say that anyone who has been contacted by these guys is being scammed because the debt is purchased and most likely out of stat (check local state laws) secondly they are operating out of an office on Bailey Avenue in Buffalo NY formerly known as Graham Nobles and Assoc. the owner Omar Smith and his wife Bridget are making a killing hiring inexperienced teenagers to do pointcalling and suckering them into believing that what they are doing is legit. there has been so many illegal activities I can't begin to tell you like running unauthorized amounts on credit cards, raising the dollar amounts on the debt more than 10 times the original amount and just the overall business practices ...Omar and his wife really think they are untouchable any one who would like more info please let me know and give me help on where I can go to really stop this and maybe even go meet him face to face I have all the info you will need

Actually the address is 3411 Bailey and the owners name is Omar Smith and his precious wife Bridget there really isn't much you can do to stop him unless you have the right info and someone willing to listen if you have someone who really wants to listen and are willing to go all the way I have the info necessary give me a way to contact you and I will help you any way possible

They did the same thing to me, regarding my father in law.  I tried to explain I could not help them, but they were very rude and kept saying we were responsible.  When I told them not to call me again, they became very loud, and hung up on me.  I called back three times to try to get someone to remove my phone number, but they kept hanging up on me.  Finally I decided to just keep calling and calling.  I turned the situation around and called them all day, harassing them... as soon as they would hang up, I would call back.  This is a relatively small office, because when I called, they would answer the phone, knowing who I was.  Finally they said they would remove my number.  This seems to have worked, as I haven’t heard  back from them.

I have received several calls & my family and ex-husband from this office regarding a debt from 2007. They are saying that I owe for but, they will not send me any inforamtion to me thru the mail. Also when I call their telephone number (1-866-949-9516), the person who picks up, states that law office of Fredricks, Goldstein & Zoe. When they look up my acount that they say I have they have an address that I have not lived at in over 4 years. Then the guy he transfered me to started being very rude and very persistent. He was being very mean to me. He keep on yelling at me telling me that I was stupid and did not know what I was talking about and that I owed the money. But I have searched and no such law firm exists. They are a clear violation of “Fair Debt Collection Practices Act.”

The calls have started once again... Now it is automated and since this is concerning "business I am conducting..."

Same details as everyone else. Except the lady we talked to was a complete moron. I actully made a payment. One the end of August.Then they took another payment 8 days later. I have gotten one back and am now in the process of getting the first one back. The only problem is the last name on the receipt isnt even mine. They say the bank messed up. Then they want me to send a copy of the reciept to them...as if...

This is the owner of FGZ, our job is to call and resolve these accts that are past due. The people have the right to complain but complain about not paying their bill, and after two million calls were not perfect, to say our office is making threats is just slander. There is no way this is going on, regardless of how many posts you write. If you called and said you're not going to pay the acct, your account goes into RTP status, simple, no threats or court cases. Where do you guys get this from? This is our job, this is what we do. We are looking to get the complaints to zero but looking at these posts it will never happen.
