they have called my number twice looking for my nepthew?? he has never lived at our address or used our number. i called them and no answer.

I placed a Better Business Bureau complaint against them and today found out that the company has been shut down already and they were unable to be contacted, so I gave the 866-967-0140 number and told them they also use 678-894-0621. I will also be charging them criminally coming up to drive the point to low lifes like this. PLEASE DO NOT SEND MONEY TO THESE SCAMMERS and call them and harrass them the same way they do all of us. Maybe they will get jobs somewhere after they get out of prison for fraud.

Just call them and tell them where to go. They are not a legitimate company per both the GA state government and the Better Business Bureau. Give them an earful and let them know you are pressing charges. Also send them a note to PO Box 242 Clarkson, GA 30021-0242 and let them know you are onto them.

hey i just got a call from the same people about a payday loan in 2009 what did you do to stop this problem

They called my dad so I called them back on 9/13 so they are still in business because they gave me the same run around they did everyone else.  They told me I used a check cashing company 2 years ago.  That was a flat out lie.  Also they said I used Teir One bank....which actually was closed down before the date they gave me...I haven't used a check cashing place in 7 or 8 years.  Very rude especially when I asked for some sort of documentation.  They have none.  They said they are taking me to court.  I asked them if they were doing that with no check or contract.  They said it was all electronic and they have my ssn and dl number and bank number so they dont need anything else....whatever...these guys are crooks! Don't send them anything.

got several calls from this company about a case pending on my husband and I for fraudulant checks. they called from the 1-866-967-0140 number and 678-666-4788. don't know if i should respond to them. one message was clear and the other was cutting out. who are these people?

Scam!! When you call back it is the rudest staff on earth (but what do you expect from people working in a fake lawyers office). They read me someone else's address social security number and drivers license thinking it was mine and told me I owed $630. This is an annoying daily phone call and a huge waste of my time. I hope they go to jail.

They are still at it. My son has been recieving calls from these numbers for about a week, when he answers they hang up. Today while he was in school they left a voicemail, a very vague message that they had been attempting to cotact me over an issue and were turning it over to the authorities( mis pronouncing the county I Live in). I called them back and asked for the extension given on the messaage, the same woman came on the phone and I provided her with the case number from the message. She asked if  my name was _____. I said yes. she asked if my date of birth was______. I said no and asked if my last 4 was___, I said no....she responded thank you for your time and hung up....immediately following the hang up i got a 1 ring call from 678-648-7590. They apparently have basic information and phising for details on your private information. They are hoping you will say no my birthdate is____ and My last 4 is___ you must have the wrong person.

I got a call from this number stating they were from Bernstein & Associates and Koffman Bernstein & Associates regarding a fraud check case.  They also left another ph# 866-967-0147 with case number but unable to locate business by names left or phone#s in any telephone directory or internet search. This is a false company so do not pay them any money because it's a scam.  Don't even call them back just block there ph# if you can.  The man said his name was Kent and was a cop with an attorney's office of some sort. It sounds like they have access to some type records or something but the company does not exist.

They called stating they had my ssn# and date of birth regarding a fraud case and left a message to call back from a Jeff a police officer working for Bernstein & Associates.  They have called several times and left recordings sounding threating to arrest me as well as prison time.  All my research, they are scrammers trying to get money from people by scaring them to death.  Don't call these people back and/or give them any information because they will sound convincing enough you might believe them.  Beware of this company.  There is no such thing as going to prison for not paying a debt or everybody would be arrested.

They pretend to be a law firm, they are actually bottom-feeding collectors...they have no one named Kaufman and Bernstein, they use Jewish sounding names to make their victims believe that they are lawyers....

They called asking for my sister, but called my #.  They left a name and a case # to reference.  Said it was in reference to a insurance fraud claim.  Two messages were automated and one live person.  They have called 3 times already.

these people are rude when they call you they dont even want to hear what you haft to say, how is it that they are the first call i get in the morning and the last call i get at night.

I kept getting calls from these ppl with the number 866-967-0140 when I moved into my new house. I called them back to tell them they have the wrong number, and he was extremely rude and told me to calm down...I told him to not talk to me like that, and he hung up on me. I am turning this number over to the BBB!

I even copied the Federal Trade Commision statements showing they have five days after contacting someone to prove in writing what is owed and they cannot call a 3rd party more than once.  They continue to call myself and my son.  They can't tell me what I owe or who I owe and Friday I did break down and call them.  One guy was so rude and put me on hold.....I was drving so I decided to see what they would come up with next.  I was on hold for 8 minutes and 32 seconds.  Anther guy named "Rowe" was smacking in my ear and I asked if I had interrupted him and his exact words were....yeah....."I am in the middle of lunch, can you call back"!!!!  I laughed and told him never to call again.  

Here we are again on Monday and they called my son and myself.  I am going to file a complaint with anyone and everyone I can.  These people have to be stopped....they are wasting my minutes too!!!!!!

I received calls from this number several times over the course of about 1 year.  Maybe like 7 or 8 total calls from them.  I'm a 39 year old guy with no outstanding debt in default so I was thinking they got my number by mistake.  

Just called them and referenced to the case number.  Asked the guy if the case applied to 'my name' and he said no, it applied to a girl named Karen.  Verified phone number and he said he'll remove.  Done and done............hopefully.

Yepp it's a scam bigger than Niagara Falls. Eat my shorts, R. Smith. Go pay your bills before you land your ass in jail.

I am receiving recorded messages about my case being ready to review.  Don't know what this is about, I do not have a case/file with Payday Loan Yes in Kinston, NC.  Can someone advise how to stop them from calling and the when i did call back to find out what it was all about - the guy on the other end, said he could have my license suspended and some other junk.

i have been receiving multiple calls from these so called debit collectors as well they have called from the two above mentioned numbers as well as 888-229-0720. all they had was my name n last 4 of my social when i asked for info on the bank that socalled didnt pay and the name of the payday company i got no answear as soon as they couldnt handle my questioniong  they hung up on me.
