i too got a call from these people. saying the same i got finished with some paperwork and was letting me know whats gonna happen.

A caller called my business and asked for an employee claiming to be from the Nation Lawyers and that he had a very important message for my employee.   I was suspicious and took his name-Ethan Patrick Ext. 240.  I told my employee that it was not a business call so I did not expect him to call back.

So I'm in California. I've received the same exact type of call today. Someone calling about a case file that they're just finishing up work on. My loans were through CA Check Cashing or Cash1. So far, I read that Cash1 can't pursue criminal action but I can't find anything on CA Check Cashing. Does anyone know the laws and if these people really are scammers?

I also received a call on my daughter cell phone, she didn't accept the call but they did leave a message for me to return the call to ext. 207, Charles D.  I am not return their call at this time.  I think it has to do with a payday loan, that I found difficult to pay it off in one lump sum payment.  I have tried to make payment arrangements, but they refuse them.  I did read on one of their brochures, that they can not file a case against you legally.  Not really sure if anyone has had a legal case.  If anyone has actually had a conversation with them, I'd like to know the results.

I got a call from my granmother stating a woman called from a prosecuting attorneys office she was scared i was goin to jail. I contacted her and was talkin to her till around 11pm real agency arent usually open this late are they????? I got the run around about some class... and some other BS is this a scam or do i need to worry i am going to jail?

I got a call from a guy named Jacob Marsh. When the caller I.D. showed restricted, I was already a little skeptical. So I looked up the number he left on his message and I got this site. I called Mr. Marsh back this morning and left him a message of my own. Told him I called my attorney who would be contacting him later this week. Haven't heard back from Mr. Marsh yet

Call was from a Raymond of the Legal Department on National Attorney Services. Please return my call @ 877-202-5736 ext 245.

I got a call on my cell phone today from what showed up on the caller id as private number. The person left a message saying they were from National Attorneys and my file just came across his desk and he was hoping to get in contact with me to let me know what was going to happen next and he left his number 1-877-202-5736 ext 208 and to call him as soon as i get the message.

Sounded like a fraudulent debt collection effort.

Son got a call because he never paid a payday loan off. and they are a collection agency, you just need to tell them you made arrangements with Speedy Cash or Quick Cash or whatever to make payments to them, you are not going to deal with collection agencies and they can send you a letter.

I received a call today from National Attorneys at 877-202-5736 regarding a urgent matter. that just came accross his desk. I have not called them back but gave their number to my consummer attorney Nick Bontrager to go after them. Just dont answer their calls the are fishes that need to go back to dark side of the sea.

The gentlemen who called saying he is Ethan Patrick ext 240 the guy who called me was ext 240 how about that and his name is Ross Whittaker.

Really pathetic that you think people are going to BELIEVE what you have to say.  You are obviously either one of them or a person who just likes to post crap on sites like this.  Everyone knows its a scam, so just save your energy and stop posting replies on here

Received a call from some guy named Shawn Crow from National Attorney. He left a message after calling my place of employment. Said he had my file on his desk for pending court case. I return the call, no answwer went to voicemail saying your have reached the Law Office of Shawn Crow. I do not know want this is about. Sounds like a scam. 1-877-202-5736

USING THREATS TO COLLECT A DEBT IS ILLEGAL.  
If they make their initial contact threatening to sue you - its an ILLEGAL scare tactic and usually means they cannot prove you owe anything at all. they just want you to pay them NOW without first PROVING that you owe the debt, or they are authorized to even be collecting it.  AND THEY ARE DENYING YOUR RIGHT TO DISPUTE THE DEBT!

Harrassing calls...they supposedly have a case against me...bwaahaha!!!

They called me private the other day and left a message saying his name was Jeremiah something and that i had pending court papers on his desk and wanted to let me know what was going to happen. I tried to call the number back that he left and it was disconnected. Im kinda wondering how legit this place is.

Also recd a message on my home phone trying to locate some unknown (to me) individual that supposedly gave my # as a contact.
Indicated on message that they were a Law firm (National Attorneys)
I googled to make sure 877 was toll free (couldn't remember).

I called and mentioned the complaints and "James" responded with something about it's natural for people to complain about agencies trying to collect debts..then I mentioned something about them going after an 8-yr old, and he assured me that that was the previous owners doing..they've since changed ownership?

I did reluctantly give them the last 4 digits of my phone number but not my name..after trying to give them only my area code, he mentioned he was calling several in my (AZ) area.
