Received animated voicemail message.  Message was asking for another person.  Message was left on my work phone number.

Said they were EOCCA debt collection agency. Said I owed $1100 dollars to At&t cingular wireless and that it would go on credit report if I didn't make some type of payment within a week. I physically went to an At&t store, they looked up my account and said it was a scam and that I was fine with them.

Have received frequent calls for our daughter - claim she owes $450. to AT&T wireless.  She has NEVER had AT&T.  Our other daughter received a letter from the same people, EOCCA, and when she called them she was passed around to at least 7 different people, and when she asked to speak to a manager, she was disconnected.  Can we all say phishing!

Received same call from differant number. Said this call is for so and so. If this is not so and so please call back at the number and have it removed from their list. I called them back and said no one lives here by that name, the girl went ok e will remove your number from our call list.

Got a call from a company called EOCCA. They left a message saying they needed to speak to me regarding a time-sensitive matter that required my immediate attention. The caller id said 708-342-2370, but the callback # they gave was 877-489-1148. Also gave me a reference #. I called & spoke to Bianca(she was the one who left the message)& she told me that I owed AT&T for an old internet account. I told her they had made a mistake & hung up.

This is not the first call I've gotten like this. It is a scam.

These people call periodically, each time looking for Phillip Kelly.  Today was the first time in 2 years that I was able to get a live person on the phone, who assured me she'd take my name off the list.  I'm holding my breath!  Scam? Who knows.

receiv ed a phone call today from 800566-6128--when we called them we were told it was eocca, but they would not tell us what they were calling about or what kind of company they are--turns out, the call was for our daughter who is away in college--she called them and it was about a past due AT&T bill, but when she called AT&T, they admitted that they never informed her of this past due bill--anyway, she paid eocca because they told her it had to be paid TODAY--this company is impossible--they call our home phone but won't tell us who they are--I intend to report them to the BBA in Chicago--KMC

Obviously a scam!  Received call on my cell phone -- no response when answered.  I called back; they said they were EOCCA.  I stated they called my cell phone; they said, "wait a minute".  10 minutes alter I hung up.  Never did find out what they wanted.

Have recieved many calls from them all hours of the day - Say money is owed - but no one here owes money to anyone.  Is a Scam!!

Got a call from these idiots.  First they don't realize any credible business would not be open at 9:00 p.m., then they both sounded like complete idiots - so unprofessional I could not believe it.  All of my bills are up to date and this is definitely a phishing scam so please do not give them any information.  They started out by giving me a multiple choice of names, then wanted SS#.  I must say I did not end the conversation on a happy note!  Please go to http://www.ftc.gov/phonefraud and file a complaint.

Got a call from 877-294-5776.  Left message that they were looking for a person that does not live at my house.  If I was that person I was to call them at 877-294-5776.  If I was not that person I should hang up.   Said they were calling for EOCCA.

Again on June 8 -- Tired of this scam!  They were asking for "Vickie Brown".  I called back and you'll never guess who answered?  Vickie Brown!  This might clue you in to this phishing scam.

Received call again on Jun 14th -- Getting tired of this phishing!  Wrote FTC and filed formal complaint.

The # 8773840290 called and left an automated message asking for me...and the voice said if it wasn't me hang up and call them at bla bla bla to take off the list. But if I was Jess etc. continue listening: "This is EOCCA and we'd like to talk to you about an important business debt. Please call us back at same # and refer to the account # 15blabla...  Wut are they talkin about???
I pay my bills and whoever says otherwise can look at my proof.  I don't even have any account # by the one they gave.

They say they are a debt collector. The name of the person they are looking for is the previous owner of the home; however, my phone number is a new one and she never had this phone number. It seems obvious to me that they are simply searching for phone numbers related to previous addresses of someone who owes money. It is not right that I should have to endure these intrusions on my privacy. I would prosecute them if I could find out who they are.

They claiming they are collecting on an ATT/Cingular debt for a cell phone. I currently have ATT and ATT has no record of this and my balance is current. When I requested a properly formatted letter be sent as per the Fair Debt Collections Act they immediately threatened escalation. I am send this to may state representative as well
