- Yanet Hernandez| 1 replyI don't know what you charge me and take money from my account every month, because I never use this FyE'S VIP. You must stop and take my money from my account. I never give a permision to take money from my account please I need to talk with one of the representative people .urgent and my phone number is 202-210-9790 I will block this payment and I would verify from when or what month you take my money
- Clem replies to AubreyThere's two different types of backstage pass discount cards.
One is $25 a year and saves you only at fye.
The other is monthly and saves you at a lot of other places as well.
Those discounts are available online at the website for the backstage pass. They are printable coupons.
As with the $25 one there is NOT a free 30 day trial as there is with the monthly one. And the monthly one does renew whereas the $25 one does cancel itself out a year to the day after you signed up.
So that would be why you saw information about the $25 one. Hope that helps. - Elm| 1 replyI haven't received any phone calls. But I noticed a charge of $11.99 and I am taking this to FYE "face to face" tonight.
I did close my credit card that the charge was taken from, and letting 5/3 fight it with FYE. And I put a complaint against them on BBB.com, and I will give them hell tonight!!!! - laurenWats the customer care numer so I cancel this evil thing? it always overdraws me!
- Ang1011 replies to Jo AnnIts not gonna matter if you cancel the card or not they are still debting your account isn't that credit card fraud? I'm calling Mon. to cancell my card. I feel like such an Idiot. I should have said no the second time.
- ang1011 replies to FrankIts sounds to me like maybe some of their employees may be fraudulent.
- tessNY replies to Yanet HernandezFYE big scam.
- c.bI'm fifteen years old and went into F.Y.E and got a few things, but then when checking out the cashier asked me if I wanted to save 20 percent on my purchase so I said okay. He told me it was absolutely free and that I would also get three free subscriptions too three different magazines, but after set it up he told me that it was 11.99 a month and I could cancel anytime. I was so upset! I tried to cancel twice but I still keep getting charges on my account, they took 200.00 out so far! So my parents are going to report them to the B.B.B and The State Attorney Generals Office. F.Y.E IS NOTHING BUT A SCANDALOUS COMPANY THAT NEEDS TO BE OUT OF BUSINESS!!!
- PearlyQI just noticed that there was a pending charge for a purchase that I didn't remember making. I called the number next to the charge, and I was connected to customer service. Apparently, I had subscribed to some Backstage VIP membership ( which never actually subscribed to). However, the lady on the phone was pretty nice, she took my info, verified I had indeed been charged, canceled the memebrship and refunded my money back to me.
Even though this is obviously some sort of scam the FYE had going on, I guess they take care of it if and when they get caught...- Caller: FYE
- Michael Lawson-Padia| 1 replyI did not apply for this site. I do not even know what it is all about, and I don't care to. I want you to cancel any membership and refund the $11.99 you took out of my bank account.

- Victoria replies to Michael Lawson-Padiajust call them and tell them you want to cancel they will try to get you to keep it and give you some gift cards but i don't think you can get your money back though
- Travis| 6 repliesWell maybe it is the FYE you people are going to, but personally I work at an FYE and we have never scamed anyone into getting a VIP card. We clearly state about the charge that comes if you do not cancel the card after the trial.
The problem with most people now adays though is they dont pay attention to anything in life and screws them over.
Read the instructions one day and then maybe this wont happen to you.- Caller: FYE
- Caitlin| 1 replyLast summer, I made a purchase at FYE, which I payed for with my debit card. As I was about to pay, the sales rep offered me a "free trial" of FYE VIP Backstage Pass, saying it would be automatically canceled unless I called in to continue it. I had not been able to check my bank statements frequently, and when I did, I found a charge of 11.99 for something starting in fye with a bunch of gibberish following it. Upon further inspection, I found that the same charge had been made every month since July, which resulted in 3 overdraft fees (I thought my calculations were just off before I looked into it). I looked it up, and found that it was for the FYE Backstage Pass. I didn't knowingly sign for my debit card to be connected to anything, other than to pay for the 3 CDs I was buying, and now it has cost me almost $100, not including the overdraft fees! I am taking it up with FYE first thing tomorrow, and talking to my bank about the overdraft charges.
- KarenCall your bank or credit card company. They can block this charge for you so they can't get anymore money. Just PLEASE contact your bank or credit card company!!! PNC Bank was great.

- jan4752000I just sent this note to a local TV reporter who works on consure fraud stories. Everybody do the same and close this compnay down and stop doing this to people. They are stealing money from people. Help and report to the Better Business Bureau, Attorney General and TV stations to put the pressure on, Stop this company............
9 months ago my son stopped at FYE Park City Was told if he got their backstage pass he’d save $3. He signed up, told he had 30 days to cancel or would charge his account $11.00 per month. He could not get anyone to cancel, I told him no company would do this and he must not be communicating effectively and took over. Last week I called the company 5 times. First time I was told that the account would be noted and they would send me 5 check like certificates for $10 each. I asked if this was check that could be deposited, would only say they are “check like.” I said no want to talk with supervisor. Finally told account is canceled, my son saw pending charge on his checking account on Thursday and called again. Had to go through the whole deal again and again told is cancelled and they will refund $47.96 and verified no more charges to bank account. Over the weekend they did pull more money from account. Store mgr will not help, FYE will not respond, district manager no response. Look on line this is a problem for company and many customers have been abused. Please warn people!- Caller: FYE
- brad from mdThe scam is they sign u up telling you just call the number and cancel anytime. But I walked out of the store called and my account wasnt in the system and they said takes up to 2 weeks. I call back 3 days later same deal. So then its out of mind and I of course forget. I called after noticing the 11.99 on my card and they SAY they are going to refund the 11.99 in 7 days. Of course you have to go through the normal plugs of 1. 20 dollar gift card 2. that it is to my benefit to use the card advantages until the end of the month. After which I get tough (sorry but you have to) and demand cancelation and refund of charges. Then it supposedly will be done. Write down every confirmation number they give you! Good luck!
- TrentI just called and cancelled my membership (that I wasn't aware of). And this may be a stupid question, but how do I use the confirmation number I was given?
- Gina| 2 repliesI worked at an FYE in Columbus for a long time. To be signed up, you have to sign two slips at the end of your transaction. One is for your credit transaction, one is confirming that you are aware that after 30 days, your card will be charged 11.99. Your account is canceled if Affinion doesn't find a signed slip that matches your backstage pass account. So everyone complaining that they had "no idea" was clear minded enough to give the FYE employee their name, address, telephone number, birthdate, and to sign off on the charges. It's frustrating, yes. But maybe it can be a lesson to READ WHAT YOU SIGN. Also, I had many customers who did the 30 day trial multiple times and had no issues canceling it. I'm sure sometimes it's a pain in the ass, but if you're firm it will be taken care of.
