I am not sure Brad if you understand the First Amendment. Which states that we have the right to freedom of speech. All of these people have the right to voice their opinion in a public forum without fear of prosecution. I am sure your lawyer has already explained this to you, which is why you have yet to sue anyone. Stop defending a company to people who obviously do not want to hear it. If what they say offends you, stop coming to this site. Simple as that! You should be ashamed for continuing to argue with people who do not agree with you. It is a waste of your time. Perhaps you should move on and find another forum to talk about all the good things you believe this company has to offer.

It's obvious by your missuse of English that you aren't American, or even worse, are VERY uneducated.  This sets off alarms big time. I'm also reporting this company as a scam!

Brad - you must not be asking right questions..only seller pays the commission (to realtor) on a sale, not a buyer.

Just because you got ok to rent, doesn't mean your sale will go through well...

I got a phone call but went to answer and it said it was a missed call. I tried to call it back and it went to voicemail saying that *darin* was unavailable.

I then received a text message saying "This person called you but did no leave you a message - SpinVox"

Who is this person really? how did they get my cell phone number? and who is spinvox??

Oh, very much a fraud; they make false claims, resort to spamming, change their name often, get F ratings from the BBB ...

Your kidding right? You claim to be a customer, and now you are threatening to sue over comments people make about the company that helped you find an apartment? Really? Are you that stupid?

What is really sad is that you believe that you are smarter than everyone else. Brad, you are a [***].

This world will be a better place when your gone.

    Jeeze, what a simpleton.

Listen, you both make good points but An agent will not take 3-6 % on a rental for one and for two you can get the same information for free that they are charging you $199 for. You guys do what you want, as for me I will not be paying the $199 because I already have a list that I got for free.

Legally you can’t do anything, because THEY can be sued by Craig’s list for false advertising and spamming. So please stop trying to be a lawyer and leave it to the pros, You have no case.

Brad.  One of the legal tenets in these great United States of America is that you have to prove injury before you can make a claim against another person for any reason.  If you are a satisfied customer as you claimed to be, then you have experienced absolutely no injury from anything any person has stated in this forum.  Because as a customer, you have absolutely no financial interest in the health of the company currently known as American Standard Online.

For everyone else.  I did some pretty thorough research and here are facts that as of this date are not contestable and cannot be used for a lawsuit except to support my statement.  The company known as American Standard online is not registered with the Better Business Bureau.  The BBB is aware of this company and has 110 unresolved complaints on file.  In fact, the BBB does not have any files of any resolved complaints with this company.  Due to its business practices and the complaints, the BBB currently has the company rated with an "F".  That is the lowest rating a company can receive from the BBB.

The smart recommendation is to not do business with American Standard Online until they resolve the issues customers have complained about (some of them very serious accusations of fraud), and achieve a better ranking with the Better Business Bureau.

This is the funniest thing I've ever heard.

Brad - you seem shady, illegitimate, and less than reliable. Who was the person you spoke to at this, said " business"? What was the phone number?  and in what country did you rent?

BTW... legally you cant do [***].

Yea they are doing the Craig's list thing here - showing unimaginable rent to own price. However, their posting has a few slip ups- one - the map link takes u back to the Craig's list directory, 2- the street address does not exist here, 3-the zip code for the street address does not exist either - but the prefix is for NEW MEXICO- ad was placed as property available in Monterey- CALIFORNIA ! (They show a new or newly redone 3bd 1500 sq ft (pretty pics) for $700/mo-such just simply doesn't exist here-not even if it was a MAJOR fixer upper!much less one that matched the posted pics ) Also list conflicting phone numbers & some w/no area code-it's a total copy/paste hack job. I don't normally use Craig's list so I'm not sure how to notify them & haven't them time to search it out now - but if anyone does they ought to give them a heads up on this posting PostingID: 2401005382.

Your a twit.  American Standard is a plumbing appliance company.  Coincidence?  I think not.  $199 flushed down the toilet if anyone pays them money.

Paying these thieves for a list of apartments that you can get for free from any real estate company or a 2 minute online search is just stupid.  This is another scam.  Please sue me too.  And for the record Shill means an accomplice of a swindler.  You might want to use american standard to get rid of the dictionary you got your definition from.

Anyone that uses this company deserves to be scammed, PERIOD.
