Have been receiving calls from this number for the past 2 weeks at 9:08pm even on Saturdays.  Called the number back and asked to be removed from their list.  Husband is concerned it's some kind of scam that will charge us for me calling them????????

We receive calls from this number several times a day.  No one ever says anything when we answer the phone

Had three calls from this number on 12-5-09. I do not have a business line and they are calling my home phone number.  I did not answer the first two calls and they hung up immediately when my answering machine recorder came on, I answered the third call, they just said hello 3 times and then they hung up.

Call 2-3 times a day. Wake the baby up almost evry day while he is napping. How do you stop this calling? I'm on the Do Not Call register but the calls continue. Nobody ever says anything if you pick up and they never leave a message. I hate the !@#$%^&*()_that are calling!

You are supposed to report the violators of the "do not call" registry, otherwise how does anyone know they have broken the law? How can they be punished for their crime if they are not reported?

If everyone reported them every time they called, they would soon be bankrupt!

Just received what must be the 30th call from this number...USA Business Directory...they know nothing about my  business, except that is is going to be their featured listing on their website...I have pleaded with them to stop calling, they always say "Yes, maam" and then call back in a couple of days...what can I do?

Three calls in the last 2 days. Hang ups. Between 9 and 11 am. I won't answer them any more.

I have a business phone number forwarded to the phone I received the call on, so can't say if it is business or private. All my private numbers are on the DNC list.

I have found that even business calls that are legit telemarketing WILL put you on a DNC list if you request that. Only these hard-core bad guys persist. Don't answer.

If a private line with DNC, contact the FCC. They actually do respond. I reported another "in-violation" call (repeated) to my private line and one I noted here and the FCC sent a letter to confirm the phone call. It is an annoyance to do this, but the calls to the other number have stopped.

I wish there would be more pro-active action, especially for businesses which bear a significant cost for having to tie up phone lines and personnel to deal with these calls.

they call me none stop at the business phone and they are from either online phamacy or RX phamacy.  I have reported them to better business and do not call register...., How do we stop them.

I finally just listened to what the woman had to say, thinking maybe that would shut the calls up... she gave me another number to call if i had any questions about the service. I did and asked to be placed on their DNC list... hopefully that works. the number:

These guys won't leave us alone. They keep calling and the phone hangs up. Help remove solicitors from the business phones.

This person called from 877-408-3390 two days in a row. The first time they lied and said it wasn't a sales call. I asked for a return phone number to which they replied it was only an "outbound" calling center. I told them not to call back if they can't leave a number.
The very next day they call again. They mumble their name and company. Couldn't hear them. I verified bad a bad mailing address that they had (fine with me!). Junk mail will be sent somewhere else. Definite scammers. They continued to want to know my name. Gave them a phony one. Then they kept talking and I told them that was all the information I was going to give out. Ended the call.

These people call my business line several times each week.  They call so often. I now recognize their phone #.  
I have tried a new approach with ALL telephone spammers...I quickly lift the receiver and quickly put it back down.
The hope is that they will think the line is not in service.
Unfortunately, the DNC list does not apply to business lines.

Finally, I got some answers. They say they're from www.zipweb.com   Annoying buggers. I told them not to call back for the 4th time. Asked to be placed on the do not call list or I will report them.

Just Google Zipweb.com scam. Hang up on these creeps.

I receive calls from them at least 3 times a day. I called them and told them not to call anymore and delet my number from their list.
But guess what...? They still call me no matter what.
When I see the number 1-877-408-3390. I just don't pick it up.

I just filed mine and will continue to do so on every call. If everyone does it perhaps there will be consequences.

Call them back, but call from a PAY PHONE. Some phones will return your money as soon as the call is dialed, which allows you to leave the phone off the hook if you want. The longer the call stays connected, the more the [***] get charged for the call. Other phones won't return your money until you hang up. Either way, THEY get charged for the call. If everyone would do this, things could get pretty expensive for them.

These are a scam group.  Do one of two things if they call:

1.  Threaten legal action against them.

2.  Have some fun with them.  Curse them in French, sing a song, repeatedly say "Waz zat sonny?" when they talk.  Good times :)

rickyr:  Better yet, start a conversation with the rep, then ask for them to hold a moment while you get your information together, THEN set the payphone down without hanging it up.  I love it! :)
