It would seem the word "resolution"  is confusing to you on it's context to have multiple levels.

This number is to their corp office and I found out this today. I called customer service they couldnt find the number in their list, sent me to fraud and same thing because there are many depts that dont even deal with one another. So the lady called the number and told me it's legit. So everyone in here talking about collections corp doesnt even deal with that so people dont believe the liars.

This was Bank of America.  Once again I had to file complaints against them with the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency, the Texas Attorney General's Office, the DOJ - ADA, the BBB, and my state's banking regulatory arm.  Why?  The ridiculousness of their "security" measures.  They can see I am calling from the number on my account but refuse to speak to me unless I get a text message from them.  I do not do text messaging, and I have complained about this before.  Then, I was unable to log into my account.  There was ZERO error in my user name or password.  They refused to talk to me without a text message.  They want an elderly, disabled, housebound senior to "go to a banking centre."  I can provide reams of information on the phone re my account.  I can answer any security question they wish to ask, yet they refuse to speak to me, and I cannot get into my account.  This is about the forced changing of passwords again.  I am SICK OF IT!!!!

Anyone who experiences these types of issues, please know that you can file complaints against them with a variety of agencies as listed above.  If you are disabled, you can file a complaint against them with the Department of Justice -- Americans with Disabilities section.  File complaints with your state's attorney general's office for consumer protection, with the Better Business Bureau, with your state's banking regulatory agency, and with the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency.  The more people who complain the better.  Maybe if enough complaints are filed, they will reform these ridiculous demands, and I do mean RIDICULOUS.

I also received a call from them, which I missed and tried calling back with the extension which didn't yield results. Were you able to reach them?

This was Bank of America.  Woman left a voicemail saying she was the person assigned to the regulatory complaint I filed with the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency.  That was about all.  Not much to say to them.  I put everything I had to say in my complaint.  Weary of these huge banks.  I advocate working with a small bank if you can find a small bank anymore.
