caller from "business office" does not identify what they are calling for and does not every answer when I return calls. QUITE ANNOYING

This is a collection agency for medical bills. It is not even a person calling you it's an automated message that just goes on and on.  I suggest blocking it from coming through because it's senseless to listen to the recording.

a nervous woman called and said that she was a debt collector for Caritas Medical or something like that.
When I told her that I didn't recognize that institution, she said "oh then I must have the wrong person, can you please verify your date of birth", then I said if you are calling me, can you tell me what date of birth you have in your info, then she said 1966, I said that is not mine and then she said well that's why I asked you to verify it. I told her you call me, and up to now you are nobody to me and you want me to give you my information, then she said good night and that was it.

The person called and my husband tried to speak with them.  They refused to give him any info.  He tried to give them the info for our bankruptcy lawyer and they said they weren't a credit card company.

He handed me the phone and they asked who I was.  I said they need to tell me who is calling first.  They refused to tell me who was calling so I hung up on them.

I received a few messages saying the call was a confidential call for me, but with my maiden name, which I haven't used in close to 2 years.  It prompted me to call the number back, so I did and heard a greeting say "The Business Office" and then an automated message asked for my home phone number.  I did not put in my number, but instead held the line.  An operator picked up and demanded, "What's your last name?"  I responded that I was not giving any personal information until I knew who the call was from and what it was regarding.  The operator then hung up on me!

This message is ridiculous: "This message is for ..........If you are not ........please do not listen to this call. By continuing to listen to this call you acknowledge that you are ..........This call is to collect a debt. Please call 1-877-435-4009. (Repeats the #)

The message is a standard Foti Script. By law they have to say it on each call and when they use their dialer system to call you. Ridiculous or not, it's there to protect themselves against 3rd party disclosure which is against the law. However the company is handles medical collections. Just send them a standard cease and desist letter and deal with the client.

Come on what game are they playing.. How did they get my cell number its unlisted.. Actually it isnt even in MY name.. Stupid people!!!!

Just got a call from 877-435-4009 AGAIN(this is the 6th or 7th time now).  I returned the phone call, the lady was asking for personal information which I told her I would not give to a no name agency.  She said she couldn't talk to me because I wouldn't give her my personal information.  I asked them not to call back, and that I would report them to the police should they continue to call.  They were collecting on behalf of Lahey Clinic, to which I already called Lahey and verified there is no outstanding debt on my account.  THESE PEOPLE SHOW ALL SIGNS OF BEING SCAMMERS!

just got a call from them for a legitimate bill. Very aggressive for a hospital, over a $50 outstanding bill.

Same type of call went to my fathers hosue, probably looking for me .(jr.)

MBROI debt collection service they call for medical collections supposedly due hospitals

I want to block this caller.  They are calling about information that has already been obtained / resolved.

My client has been getting several calls from the above #.  I dialed it this morning, you get an answer machine asking you to "Please enter your telephone number."  I would not.  I waited and then a gentleman got on the phone.  I told them I was calling on behalf of my client.  I asked him why (if they supposedly were a Debt Collecting Agency) they never leave their personal 'individual' name to contact, phone # and on whose behalf reason they are calling for?  

He then ask "What is your name? or the Person's name for whom you are calling?"  
I replied: "If you can't give me or my client your name or phone #, why should we give you ours?"

I even quoted their recording to him and asked if they were a professional agency why can't they be more specific.

He replied "We can't give you any information until you tell us who you are."

I let him know, "You are the one who is calling my client.  She doesn't have to give you any more information than you are giving her!"

I then asked him again:  What is your name?
He said:  James
I said:  Give me your whole name and the name of your supervisor.  
He said:  As a matter of fact you can speak to my supervisor.
I said:  Give me your whole name first and then I'll talk with your supervisor so I can report you both to the government.

His so called "supervisor" NEVER CAME TO THE PHONE AND HE NEVER SAID ANOTHER WORD AND LEFT ME JUST HOLDING ON!!!!

I had BALL GIVING THEM A TASTE OF THEIR OWN MEDICINE!!!!!!!!!!!!

Received call from 216-378-6200 on my cell number when I answered, they hung up.  Two seconds later they dialed my work number with the same result.  I dialed the number back and it is answered "Business Office"  after a brief  spilll the call is transfered to a live person.  I asked for the name of the organization and was told it is MBRO1 and what did that stand for and why I received calls from them that hung up on me.  Was told it doesn't stand for any thing and if I give her my number she could look it up.  By then, it really ticked me off, so I hung up!!

the same ridiculous company called me and would not give any info, so therefore I could not give them any info.  They wanted me to verify my home ad.

Do not answer any questions from this phone number!!! I just called the number back on my phone and started to ask the lady what NBROI stood for and she wouldn't tell me until I gave her my phone number. She sounded like she was in an office and said it was private and would not tell me until I answered her questions, then she hung up on me. Clearly trying to take your identity. DO NOT GIVE THEM ANY INFO!!
