Recorded voicemail Carvana car financing recently  filled application thinking they were a good choice, but after seeing other posts from this same number & their high required down payment seems they may be scammers! Filing a report & identity freeze on my social!

Just got a call from this #, "This is Shipping and Receiving, do you have a minute to talk about your account?"  I said, "Who is this again?"  She said, "Please verify your full name, date of birth and address."  I then told her, "No, I have no idea who you are, and what you're talking about.  I know what accounts I have."  A long pause ensued, and then I decided to hang up..

"By continuing to listen to this message you certify that you are <my name>..."

Not if it goes to voicemail! LMAO

automated call asking that if you are a certain person stay on the line... after which it hangs up on you.  Didn't even tell you where its calling from

They call me  5 to 6 times  daily  never answer when i call back  and never leave a message  so i don't bother anymore

Just an FYI Collections agencies or any type of agency that is calling in reference to any type of account "BY LAW" have to verify your DOB, last 4 of your SSN and to state your name. I think its a ridiculous law but at the same time I understand. Think about it... I call you about about important information on an account (Any type) you have. Would you want me speaking to someone pretending to be you, about all your personal information? Because trust me Collection agency have access to your SSN, DOB, Address, and even information on your parents and family members. So verifying partial info is NO BIG Deal.

Called and left a voice mail: "This call is for ------------- if you are not ----------------- please do not continue to listen to this message. If you continue to listen then you are verifying that you are -------------' and on and on. I didn't listen to the whole message because I didn't care to. The person they mentioned isn't me so I deleted the message.

Automated message claiming a debt is owed. Repeats.

left a message without identifying themselves , left no contact number, just saying: if you continuing listening to this message it means you are this person , then my  name, then the end of message

Recorded voice call from 877-435-4009 labeled MBROI -- asked to stay on the line for (my name). Recorded voice says "by staying on the line you are (my name)," and "the message will begin in 3 seconds." After three seconds the phone goes silent and then busy signal is heard.

This is a debt collector

Called asking for another oerson

Called saying they were debt collectors (something like "LLC"? Anyway, I called back and the person said they had no record of me and did not know who I was.  I was dumb to answer and call back.  Had a feeling it was not legit when they asked if I wanted to pay over the phone.

Verizon labeled this caller as "Possible Spam".   Voice mail said this call was to collect a debt and if I am Kate ....., I should call Receivable Outsourcing, LLC at 800-234-1257.   I don't have any debts.  I'll enter the 800 # into notes and see if anyone else has commented on that #.

Verizon labels "Potential Scam"  Thank you all for reporting - this is very helpful info, especially the legal advice.   2nd or 3rd time they've called.   same as most of these reports.   I don't answer the phone if I don't know the # so they left the stupid voice mail:  this call is for Kate....... If this is not Kate......... please do not listen to the rest of this voice mail.   hahahah   A hook for the curious, but this is a voice mail message so they don't even know if you listen to the whole thing.   Supposedly they are a debt collection company, but I don't have any outstanding debts.

voicemail said they were trying to collect a debt.   I don't have any debts.  they said they were Receivables Outsourse, LLC.

Don't know # - did not answer.   Voice message said my name and that this was an attempt to collect a medical debt.   I don't have any medical bills.  It was a computer voice and had an obvious 2nd section dubbed in.

They keep calling to leave the exact same message.  She says this is about a debt, blah blah blah.   Then a different female voice comes on saying that this is regarding a confidential business opportunity.  Please call 888-653-6085.   Huh?  sounds like a scam to me.
