- MelI can't believe I missed this for so long. 5 months of automatic payments from my bank account for $14.95. I'm so angry I can't stand it. I haven't ordered anything or purchased anything from Newport News or the likes. I can't imagine how or why I'm being charged. It's too late for me to call now but i'm glad i have everyone's advice for tomorrow when I call for my refund.
Thank you everyone!- Caller: Encore

- M McGI got you all beat! I just found out that I've been getting charged $14.95 since Dec 2009. That comes out to $687.70! I will call my bank and Newport news first thing in the morning and I will post the outcome of this. Needless to say, I am furious!!!
- Janet McClain| 1 replyUnknown source has been charging me $14.95 for at least 2 years on my credit card. 877-498-7283 is the phone number and I discovered that it is associated with Newport News, a discount women
's clothing store that I ordered a bathing suit from years ago. Apparently they sneak in charges once you place an order or give them an email address. NEVER order from this company!! Calls are answered by people in India or somewhere like that and it is difficult to get any action taken.- Caller: Newport News
- Tamianth replies to Janet McClainAlways go to your bank in person and report these kind of charges as fraud. File police reports, and file a complaint with your state Attorney General and the FTC. If they have a BBB page, you can file a report there also.
