Left message. Said that they were from Harvard Pilgrim Health. Why we're they calling me at 8 pm on a Sunday? The message was so unprofessional that it left me with doubts. All she said was "Harvard Pilgrim Health." She said it so quickly and with such a thick accent that I had to replay it several times. The number does not match any of the Harvard Pilgrim Health numbers listed on their website so I will block it. I am not going to bother calling HPH to determine if it is on the up and up.  Tip: Wherever you receive a phone call from a seemingly reputable source, hang up and call back using a number that you know is legit e.g., from an actual bill. Never give out any information over the phone to someone who calls you, unsolicited. Instead find a number you know is legit and call back.

877-499-2538 called my home landline at 12:05pm [Pacific]. I did not recognize the Caller-ID, so I let it go to answering machine and screened the call intending to pickup if legit, or callback later if a message was left. We never ever answer calls without a Caller-ID, nor if they have Caller-ID's that we do not readily recognize. We always -- ALWAYS -- screen the call message, if any. [* that has done more to stem the number of BS calls we get -- which used to be multiple times every single day, but over a few years of never answering unrecognized callers -- and then blocking them entirely if they are determined to be illegitimate....  they are now just a few a month anymore these days with an occasional month or two as the months roll by when we get NONE :) ]

In this case, the Caller-ID just said "800 Service" and displayed the given number. Unrecognized, plus it's a toll-free caller, so I let it go to answering machine for the screening, and when the answering machine finished the outgoing and then beeped for the incoming message -- there was just dead air. However, in the background of the dead air I could clearly hear what sounded like a very busy room with a whole lot of people with accents of unknown specific origin all talking at once in their din of noise. Albeit, my caller said absolutely nothing at all. The caller just let the dead air ride until my answering machine recognized it as dead air noise and severed the connection automatically.

Obviously, it was a call-center/sweatshop -- possibly in or around India from the sound(s) of it within the plethora of not quite intelligible voices in the background -- which certainly means that this was just another BS caller phishing for another gullible mark to scam. If only they never realized such great successes with their fraud. They sure as heck wouldn't even be doing this if they weren't making a fortune from all the marks with little to no common-sense that they successfully swindle.

Caller number added to permanent Block-List.

This number called my cell phone the following dates & times; I did not answer and they did not leave a message.

They called at 7pm when i pick up the phone they dint say anything. Total silence so i hang up.

Called once daily for past five days.  No message.

Claimed to be a third party to Wellcare - a prescription company.  Claimed to have information or questions on Healthcare issues.  She would not give me details as she insisted talking to my relative who I am a caretaker of.  My relative is not living with us.  But the Myers Group could not understand that I couldn't go get this relative to the phone as she is in a nursing home.

Call rang voicemail picked up did not leave msg. Retrieved number by *69 looked up here, did not call back. Scam callers never leave msg's. Don't call them back!

This phone number is connected to a computer tech scam.  Don't answer and don't call.

They called asking me to rate my dental insurance transactions. I called CareFirst: they assured me that the call was legitimate. They are hired to give feedback to providers.

These people called, and asked "Would you like to take a survey about your BMC health insurance?" I was holding my 6 month old, who was screaming into the phone, so I said "No, I'm sorry, I'm busy." And they've been calling everyday ever since. Next time they call, I will tell them I'm not interested, and not to call anymore.

My phone rang from this number, caller did not leave a message. I've blocked this number from future calls.

Racist? Omgggg. I mean I understand how you cane to that conclusion, based on the name. But, for real... Harvard pilgrim is a very well known name (at least in MA). Been around since I can remember. Harvard, a prestigious school in Boston. Pilgrim, a very commonly used term for titles/names/logos, etc. all across MA because, you know, the Mayflower & all that jazz. It's not like it's crazy out of nowhere unique or anything as far as word selection. Just sayin...

Has called me at least three times a day for the last two weeks; i never answer and they never leave a message!

No message left, will not return calls from unknown callers or unwanted callers.

They are a company which conducts surveys for other companies like my insurance company BCBS. BCBS wants me to take an intrusive survey in which I would be asked treatment details. I called BCBS and asked if it was voluntary or required and they said voluntary. So I tossed the survey I had been sent. Then they sent another one and I called this number which was printed on the survey for questions. They too said it was voluntary. Now they have called me. Two mailed surveys and a call doesn't really seem very voluntary to me but I will block them.
