    Lets Get these Basterds
First I received a call from this suppose Company name Department of Investigation said they were in GA, I asked him for the full address he said 7741 Roswell Road. So I called the place where they said I have a payday loan and they told me no, and then they also told me,that in the state I live in don't do online loans. So I called them back to talk to the man, I left a message, so then I get another call from this number above and I could tell it was the same, he said he was calling from SRG I told him you all are trying to scam people and intimidate people, I told them I know my rights, the law says that you have to send me a copy of the paperwork showing that I owe them money, so then the man just called me back again and he said i am going to transfer you to our lead investigator, I told him until I receive a copy of my supposed paper work, there was nothing else to say. I told them I would be reporting them to the FBI

Received call from this number and they asked for me by name.  I asked who was calling and was told, "Mr. Stewart at SRG."  I told him that I don't know what SRG is and he hung up on me.  So definitely not going to even answer the phone for these low-lifes anymore.  Great way to start my day. :/

Just got the second call today from SRG, this time was a woman.. She said she was with SRG collecting a dept. I told her I had looked up the number after hanging up on a man yesterday and that they were nothing but scammers.
She says I don't know who or where you looked up this number but we are not scammers. I said to her stop calling .. she then told me that I had a dept. that needed to be paid. I told her she could just stop calling, because I spoke to the company she said I owned money to and they said my bill is 0 .
She then asked me what company name did you call? .. I said you mean you don't know who or what company your calling me about. To that she said we are not scammers and I have your SS#. She said this is a real call we are not scammers, I said well I know who you are and don't call again. I then hung up the phone.

    Concerned Consumer
If you are getting calls from 1-877-574-4241 or any debt collector

You have rights and the CFPB > Consumer Financial Protection Bureau at the below link is a good place to inform about being contacted, theats such as lawsuit threats on discharged debt are illegal etc

Places to insure you report this as they are liable for making threats, not informing consumers properly in accordance to regulatory laws etc

    1)  www.consumerfinance.gov; http://www.consumerfinance.gov/complaint/

    FTC = Federal Trade Commission

    2) http://www.ftc.gov/; https://www.ftccomplaintassistant.gov/#crnt&panel1-1

In addition consider contacting your states DOJ office (Department of Justice) and also informing them

As well as filing a Police report

You as a consumer have rights and they at this number are not following the legal regulatory rules and laws. They are accountable for it

In addition a class action lawyer is also a good place as he will work on getting other harned consumers by this company and sue them!

It is not ok to conduct their business in this manner and they are breaking the law!

SRG just called me and used my maiden name, claiming they had my social security number and important information. Client based my ass. Obviously a debt collector but all my debt is over 10 years old and nothing on my current credit report is past due. Whenever you get a call from an unknown number, do not tell them it is the person they are looking for! Ask them enough to get why they are calling, and then tell them they have reached the wrong number. Do not give them your name, ever. They will be forced to take you off their register.

Yes, because there is not easy to pick out dialect used by the black community in the US. Racism would say a black sounding girl, and we know they are stupid! All they said was what dialect they used, not any kind of reference to good or bad. The girl could have been white using a black dialect, hence why they didn't say "black girl" but rather "sounding girl" they never declared the race, only suggested what dialect they used and made no judgments on it... Stop looking for racism where it doesn't exist Reverend Sharpton...

They've started calling daily.  I never answer the phone, due to posts here, but it is disturbing that they have my cell phone number (which is only 18 months old).  Plus--I have no unpaid debt---10 years old, or otherwise.  Bad people.

They called at 7:32pm on 8/28/14.  I didn't answer, they didn't leave a message.  What kind of half-assed company calls you but won't leave a message?  That in itself should be illegal..

For me the same experience as below, except for some reason I got a call from someone who hung up right away when I said hello.  When I tried to call back to figure out what was happening I got a person who just told me SRG and she hung up on me twice.  Then I went to the Internet! Hello, Internet!

Got a call from this number/agency today; They said that I was "listed" as an alternate number for my spouse, As usual, got no information from the dumb broad making the call, so I hung up her. I Happen to KNOW that my spouse has this number blocked on his i-phone, it gets NO ringtone on the phone and after three quick rings for the calling party automatically goes to a busy signal.
With my Android phone, I go to "TRAP CALL" and Blacklist the number, if you don't answer, it tells the caller that the phone is no longer in service.

    Whatever
Got a wake up call from them today, telling me I owe $300 or so to Sprint, I told them this is not my debt.  Lady keeps trying to insist it is mine, so I told her that even if it was mine, it is at least 14 years old.  So she's like, "If it's not your debt, how do you know how old it is?"  There are multiple reasons I know how old it is.  One, I haven't lived in an area where I would have the phone number she referenced in over 14 years.  Two, she herself told me that maybe it was connected to an internet service, because "Remember how the used to do internet back then, through the landlines?"
The first thing she did when I answered was run through my credit report and ask me to verify the last 4 digits of my SSN.  Um, no.  Not doing that.
I honestly don't know if this is my debt or not, I can barely remember what happened last week, let alone 14 years ago.  But I really don't think I EVER owed that much money to Sprint, have not received anything in the mail, and the SoL has passed two fold since I even lived in that area!

This number calls day and night. Has even called my daughters cell phone all hours of the day even when she is at school. The person that just called-  I couldnt hardly understand, All she askes was if I was Ms Kimberly that if I was Ms. Kimberly I owe 12,132 dollars and kept asking if I was (this person) ***** that  Ms. Kimberly  needed to make payments to clear the debt up. I asked who was the creditor and she said she doesnt have that info. I asked if she could send me what is owend and to whom it was owed to-  she said they were a paperless company she couldnt send me any kind of report. But she would be happy to set up auto payments if I gave  her my bank routing and acct number.  She did tell me I have till Noon to make payment arrangments or further legal procedings will take place. Which could include going to jail, or having my paycheck garnished. She wanted to confirm the information but I would not confirm anything. I am not past due on any debts, and I have checked my credit score and nothing shows on there. How do you get them to stop calling. I Immediatly hung up and she called me right back, I didnt answer let it go to voicemail. She didnt leave any voicemail.

Received calls from this number twice so far. Have nevr answered just checked in Recent Calls on my  phone as I was driving when the call came in. I Understand this is a scam debt collection agency. Will report as my cell is listed on government Do Not Call list. Have had other scammers call me more than 50 times in a week and while I was in therapy after a surgery and needed to be able to respond to appt confirmations. These folks are JERKS. Ignore the calls.. Almost every rock has something creepy under it, these just came out to give you bogus harassments.
